Vitamin K2 as a Nutrient Cure for Cancer in Children and Adults
Vitamin K2, a newly discovered essential nutrient that is structurally similar, but biochemically very different from vitamin K1, has been studied by scientists as a non-toxic, natural cure for leukemia and other types of cancer. But before we launch into the results of vitamin K2 studies demonstrating that this is a cure for cancer, let’s talk about how and why vitamin K2 would have this anti-cancer effect on the body.
While vitamin K1 (also known as phylloquinone) is most famous for its ability to modulate blood clotting, vitamin K2 is most famous for its relationship to vitamin D2 and vitamin D3. Vitamin K2, which is scarce, if not practically non-existent in the food supply in modern societies, is the nutrient that tells the body whether to put calcium from the diet into the bones and teeth or into soft tissues like blood vessels or the organs. Thus, a deficiency of vitamin K2 can lead to dental cavities and weak bones (e.g. osteoporosis), but that’s not all. Vitamin K2, you see, plays a vital role in bone health, period. And you can’t really talk about healthy blood if you don’t have healthy bones because blood cells are manufactured inside the large bones like the femur.
NOTE: Vitamin K2 can safely be administered during pregnancy and lactation. Indeed, if you administer vitamin K2 along with the other fat soluble vitamins (via a cod liver oil supplement is best) during pregnancy and lactation it is extremely unlikely that your child will ever have to have orthodontic work done on their teeth. Vitamin K2 for Bone Health and Blood Health in Cancer Patients
Anyone who has been diagnosed with leukemia and parents of children with leukemia know that bone marrow, the soft spongy stuff inside of the bone tissues, is a big part of leukemia treatment. But somehow, conventional medicine has managed to make bone marrow and general bone health into two separate things. Bone marrow stem cell treatments somehow seem completely separate from the hard exterior of the bone tissues once childhood leukemia or adult-onset leukemia is diagnosed. A Nutrient Deficiency That Causes Cancer
There are two other big nutrient deficiencies (and one enzyme deficiency) besides vitamin K2 that play a role in causing cancer:- Lugol’s Iodine (which contains two forms of iodine: potassium iodide and molecular iodine which feed the thyroid gland and the reproductive organs)
- Vitamin B17 / Amygdalin / Laetrile (a substance found in seeds and in plants of the Fabaceae family)

Vitamin D as a Dangerous Supplement When Taken Without Vitamin K2
Vitamin D is naturally produced in human skin after exposure to sunlight. Initially, it is produced in its inactive form. It then travels to the liver and then onward to the kidneys to become activated. This pathway of vitamin D production and activation proceeds, interestingly, through the 3 primary organs of detoxication (skin, liver, and kidneys). Once activated, vitamin D behaves more like a hormone than like a nutrient.Vitamin D in its active form without vitamin K2 as its sidekick, helps the intestines absorb calcium from the diet, but vitamin D by itself won’t tell the calcium where to go in the body. Vitamin K2 and Organophosphate Exposure
Because of the role that vitamin K2 plays in modulating calcium levels in the blood supply, our research seems to indicate that vitamin K2 may play a role in protecting the body from organophosphate exposure and toxicity. As such vitamin K2 may be able to prevent leukemia by promoting absorption of healthy inorganic phosphates into bone tissues where calcium ions and phosphate ions normally create a crystalline structure. Vitamin K2 causes the membrane potential of mitochondria to be altered and then cells produce these superoxide ions that are like little lightning bolts that are specifically attracted like a magnet to things in the body with an acidic pH.
