Concentrations of 30-100% of DMSO can be applied to the entire body, though DMSO can be extremely drying to the skin, so the concentration of DMSO should be started low and increased slowly according to the patient’s level of tolerance. Most scleroderma patients experience severe gastrointestinal upsets. This is because they are deficient in pancreatic enzymes, liver enzymes (bile) and sometimes also stomach enzymes (such as hydrochloric acid and pepsin). In the early 1900s, before the American Medical Association took over medicine and stopped using natural medicines, pancreatic enzymes were able had a 13% cure rate as a treatment for cancer when used as a stand-alone therapy. At AlivenHealthy, Lydian and I spend time researching things like herbal remedies for scleroderma and other serious diseases every day. It isn’t easy to find something like a cure for scleroderma in Ayurveda, for example because Ayurvedic medicine doesn’t label diseases using the same terms. And finding a natural herbal remedy for scleroderma is also difficult because a lot of the information about these cures are covered up by Big Pharma. Often, Lydian and I find a cure for one disease while researching another disease. This was definitely the case with cancer. Unfortunately, though we’ve written a lot of material that makes it possible fo cancer patients to find out about natural cancer cures, we’ve written far less about natural cures for scleroderma. But believe it or not, there are a LOT of natural herbal remedies for scleroderma as well as Ayurvedic treatments for this disease as well.
