Chronic Pain Relief Without Harmful Drugs: DMSO to the Rescue

The Alive-N-Healthy DMSO Guidebook - Buy Here!

First of all, I have to start by saying that Dimethylsulfoxide (DMSO) is an FDA approved drug. But it isn't toxic like ibuprofen or acetaminophen. DMSO has a toxicity level similar to that of water. It is derived from trees and though it is a simple substance, it has the broadest medicinal action of any other drug currently in the Merck Manual.

DMSO is a big topic because this medicine can be used to treat so many diseases, but one of the most important things that you need to understand if you're new to this medicine is that it is a solvent. This means that it combines easily with other things. So be sure to read about how to use DMSO safely before you get started with this amazing substance.

DMSO is FDA approved for use in pregnant women and it can also be used in infants and young children. Indeed, DMSO is a vital component in the treatment regimen used by parents who have children with cancers like leukemia. DMSO is a cancer cure, but it also has the ability to regenerate nerves and spinal cord tissues. DMSO lowers inflammation and it helps nerve fibers heal from neuropathy.  DMSO is a natural pain-killer, but don't expect it to work the way that ibuprofen or acetaminophen work. DMSO doesn't just cover up the pain while wreaking havoc on the liver or other organs like ibuprofen and acetaminophen. It actually works to heal the body and rebalance the immune system among other things. So it takes time for people to notice its effects.

Don't take DMSO at the same time as you take ibuprofen or acetaminophen. Wait for at least an hour between DMSO doses and acetaminophen or ibuprofen. DMSO doses can be taken regularly as an alternative to pain killers, but commit to long-term treatment with this medicine if you want to cure chronic pain permanently.

Chronic pain patients often must apply DMSO for 6 weeks before changes become significant using DMSO. After 6 weeks of consistent application of DMSO, however, many of these chronic pain patients report that they experience relief to a degree that they haven’t experienced with any other type of medication or treatment. Doctors who use DMSO regularly often report that the more chronic and ongoing the pain is, the longer the DMSO treatment must be administered before the patient experiences relief and healing from the pain.

Arthritis patients may need to administer DMSO for several days before they experience relief from inflammation and pain.

Low odor DMSO - Dimethyl sulfoxide liquid 3.4 Oz - 100 ml | Pharmaceutical grade ingredient | High purity | Heiltropfen®

Dosing Instructions:

DMSO can be administered topically to the skin or it can be administered orally in water as a drink. Or patients may wish to administer DMSO by mouth as a drink and also administer DMSO to the skin overlying areas of the body that are in pain.

Oral Administration of DMSO: An adult with chronic pain should administer 500-1000 mg of DMSO per 1 kilogram of body weight daily. This dose should be administered in 8-16 ounces of clean, filtered water in divided doses. Administer 1 dose every 2 hours throughout the day for chronic pain.

Topical Administration of DMSO: 70% DMSO and 30% aloe vera gel can be administered to areas of the body where the patient experiences chronic pain. This treatment may cause skin redness or irritation, but the patient may also find that pain is significantly diminished as a result of treatment.

Combination Treatment Recommendations:

DMSO and Aloe Arborescens:  70% DMSO with 30% Aloe Arborescens can be administered topically to the skin as a treatment for chronic pain and inflammation. Aloe Arborescens contains ingredients that can help relieve pain and inflammation. Dilute a 70% solution down to 25% if it causes skin dryness. Note that Aloe Arborescens is famous as a plant that has the ability to cure various types of cancer. It is especially powerful when combined with DMSO.

DMSO and Magnesium: Magnesium combines well with DMSO. Magnesium plays an important role in helping muscles relax so this combination of DMSO and Magnesium is an excellent choice if you have muscle tension that seems to be causing chronic pain. Dilute the DMSO-Magnesium mixture if it causes excessive skin dryness.
