Women who experience postpartum depression are often hard on themselves and in addition to feeling depressed they feel a lot of guilt ABOUT their depression. In this article, we provide seriously powerful methods to get rid of postpartum depression naturally.

Postpartum Depression and Postpartum PTSD Herbal Remedies and Natural Treatments

Postpartum depression is a reality for many women who deliver their babies with the full expectation that they’ll bounce back from their pregnancy with enthusiasm and excitement. Women who experience postpartum depression often have deep, dark feelings of guilt about their mood and the negative thoughts that go along with the experience. Women who are breastfeeding often find that doctors and psychologists have little to offer them in terms of medicinals that won’t be passed on to their baby.

Postpartum Depression: Herbal Remedies

Natural treatment for postpartum depression is often a woman’s first introduction into the world of natural healing. Many women find that postpartum depression herbs are the miracle that makes them curious about the other disease states that can be cured using these tools. The use of postnatal depression herbs to overcome negative, dark thoughts is an important foundation for treatment. Start with the herbs that we talk about below, but don’t neglect the detoxification treatments and nutrient treatments for postpartum depression either. We discuss nutrient and detoxification cures for postpartum depression in the upcoming section.

Powerful Herbal Remedies for Postpartum Depression

Our work with sacred indigenous medicines like Ayahuasca and Mushrooms has taught us that plants have a consciousness and they are the very best counselors for women with postpartum depression. But though not all women have access to Ayahuasca or Psilocybin, most women can find postpartum depression herbal remedies like Mucuna pruriens and Pueraria lobata to work with gently on a day-to-day basis. Some women may also need to take 5-HTP (derived from Griffonia simplicifolia). These plant medicines are all safe for use as a natural postpartum depression treatment during lactation.

Pregnancy and childbirth is an important rite of passage for women and some new mothers might benefit from Ayahuasca or Psilocybin microdosing while breastfeeding.

Below, we start by talking about Mucuna pruriens, a foundational herbal treatment for postpartum depression and postpartum PTSD. We say that it is foundational because dopamine is the neurotransmitter that allows us to have “parental feelings”. And both Mucuna and Kudzu help reboot your brain’s dopamine systems in powerful ways that can’t be duplicated by any extant drug on the market. Treatment with Mucuna pruriens will help your body work with the other nutrients and herbal remedies for postpartum depression that we discuss in this article.

Mucuna pruriens

Mucuna pruriens is a bean that is eaten as a staple part of the diet in Central America and certain parts of Asia. But this humble bean has literally worked like a miracle for many women and men that we’ve worked with to help them overcome both depression and anxiety. Mucuna should really be a staple part of every protocol involving herbal treatments for postpartum depression because it’s so important in helping the brain process trauma. Because pregnancy and childbirth is a rite of passage, it involves fear as well as trauma for many women, especially women who give birth in a medical facility.

Click here to buy Mucuna pruriens.

Mucuna is an herb that we work with a lot because it contains a lot of nutrients that people lack and it brings them back online quickly, usually within 4 to 6 hours. Postpartum depression often does not respond exclusively to Mucuna pruriens, a bean that will literally help your brain heal from trauma and process memories even if you’ve had very little sleep. You probably see where I’m going with this and how this herb can be helpful in women with postnatal depression. Mucuna helps the brain grow new connections, which is essential as a cure for postpartum PTSD.

A lot of women ask us, “Can you have PTSD from postpartum depression?” and the answer is a resounding YES!

As a woman who has given birth to a stillborn child, I can say that this childbirth experience traumatized me, but I have many friends who had extremely traumatic childbirth experiences that ended with a healthy baby. I knew I had PTSD from giving birth, but it wasn’t until I worked with a shamanic healer in Colorado many years later that I found out that I had (according to the shamanic model of medicine) lost a part of my soul as a result of the experience. Today, as someone with a master’s degree in psychology and also as a shamanic medicine practitioner, I view PTSD as a form of soul loss. Mucuna pruriens can sometimes coax the lost soul part to come back on its own, but it also primes the brain and body to accept the lost soul part when it’s called back to the body by a shamanic medicine practitioner.

If you feel like you have postpartum depression as well as postpartum PTSD, treatment should definitely include Mucuna pruriens. Mucuna is safe for use while breastfeeding. Women can take it even as they wean themselves off of a prescription antidepressant. I often recommend that women take up some kind of needle work like crochet or knitting or even just braiding pieces of string as a natural way to do EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing). Pull out the needle work or pieces of string and braid them whenever you feel overwhelmed by traumatic memories or depressing thoughts. EMDR resembles REM sleep in terms of how your brain works when you are doing a right-left, back and forth movement with your hands. So this kind of activity can help you process trauma and call lost soul parts back into the body which can do wonders as a natural treatment for postpartum depression and postpartum PTSD.

Note that Mucuna pruriens acts as a treatment for postpartum PTSD and postpartum depression because it helps the brain produce dopamine.

For postpartum depression, take 1500-1600 mg 4 times daily (6000-6400 mg total). Take it every 4 hours to keep your mood lifted throughout the day. Mucuna effects usually kick into within 4-6 hours after you start taking it. Take this dose religiously for 5 months to regrow dopamine receptors and restore your brain to pre-pregnancy functioning. After 5 months of treatment, you can take Mucuna on an as-needed basis.

Take supportive nutrients so that your body can properly process Mucuna. Without these supportive nutrients, your body may not be able to use Mucuna properly.

These include:

  1. Vitamin B100 Complex
  2. Magnesium - 300-600 mg per day (adult)
  3. Zinc / Copper - 15 / 2 mg per day
  4. Fat-Soluble Vitamins A, D, E, K1, K2 / Cod Liver Oil - 2 teaspoons per day

Pueraria lobata / Kudzu -

Kudzu, also known as Pueraria lobata, is a powerful anti-diabetic agent. It is used to regulate blood sugar levels, which balances mood considerably in women who have a poor diet especially. Many people, both men and women, who use this herb fall in love with it immediately. The thing about Kudzu is that it makes people feel better but rather than being addictive, it’s actually used to help people with addictions do things like quit drinking so much (even if they don’t intend to quit drinking). Like Mucuna pruriens, Pueraria lobata is an anti-addiction herb. Many women need Kudzu in addition to Mucuna pruriens to level out their moods after childbirth.

If you have a really poor diet, Kudzu is probably going to be an essential part of the protocol of herbs for postpartum depression.

Click here to buy Kudzu Root.

If you are taking Mucuna pruriens with the Mucuna supporting nutrients, add two 1,226 mg doses of Kudzu to your daily routine. You can lower your dose of Mucuna to 1000 mg in 4 divided doses (4000 mg per day) if you are also taking Kudzu, but if you feel like you need the full 1500 mg of Mucuna 4 times daily, it won’t hurt you to take both of these herbs at their full doses: Mucuna at 6000 mg daily taken in 4 divided doses + Kudzu at 2,452 mg taken in divided doses twice daily.

5-HTP / Griffonia simplicifolia -

5-HTP should not be taken by women who are already taking an MAOI or SSRI anti-depressant medication. While both Kudzu and Mucuna pruriens impact dopamine levels in the brain, 5-HTP works more with serotonin levels in the gut.

Do not take 5-HTP with anti-depressant DRUGS like Wellbutrin, for example or any other SSRI or MAOI. This includes Methylene Blue, a powerful MAOI that’s available over-the-counter. We talk about Methylene Blue below. You’ll want to choose between 5-HTP, an herbal remedy for postpartum depression and Methylene Blue, a repurposed, over-the-counter drug as an alternative treatment for postpartum depression. What we suggest is that women start with 5-HTP and if 5-HTP doesn’t work for them to alleviate postpartum depression, they stop taking the 5-HTP and work with Methylene Blue instead. DO NOT USE 5-HTP WITH METHYLENE BLUE AT THE SAME TIME.

The DrLact safety score for 5-HTP / Griffonia simplicifolia is 3 out of 8 which makes it low risk to both mother and infant as an herbal remedy for postpartum depression. Monitor your baby for unusual reactions to 5HTP or changes in the baby’s behavior nonetheless.

Start with low doses of 5-HTP at 100 mg per day taken in the morning. Each day, increase that dose. On Day 1, you’ll take 100 mg in the morning. On Day 2, if you feel like the 100 mg of 5-HTP either did nothing or was helpful to you, take 100 mg in the morning and then another 100 mg in the evening. On Day 3, if you feel like the 200 mg that you took the day before was either beneficial or it did nothing at all, take 200 mg in the morning and 200 mg in the evening. Monitor your baby for any changes in his or her behavior. On Day 4, if you feel like the 400 mg that you took the day before was either beneficial or it did nothing at all, take 300 mg in the morning and 300 mg in the evening. Take this dose for 3 days and evaluate how you are feeling.

5-HTP boosts serotonin levels which can either make women feel calmer, more relaxed, and happier, or it can make them feel numb and tired. If you feel like this relatively low dose of 5-HTP (600 mg per day) is not affecting you at all or if you feel like it is providing some benefits, you can increase the dose up to 3,000 mg per day.

The 5-HTP half life is only 2 hours so women can aim to take this medicine 2 or more hours before breastfeeding to ensure that 5-HTP is not actively circulating in high levels in the blood.

Combine Mucuna pruriens with Kudzu and 5-HTP as a powerful herbal remedy for postpartum depression and postpartum PTSD. While you’ll want to take Mucuna pruriens four times daily for best results at 1000-1500 mg per dose (6000 mg total), you’ll take Kudzu and 5-HTP just twice daily. Take 1,226 mg of Kudzu in the morning and at night with your 5-HTP dose.

Ayahuasca Microdosing -

Ayahuasca microdosing can be used by women who wish they had a wise old grandmother to talk to about their current situation in life. A full dose of Ayahuasca is like a psychedelic journey to grandmother’s house where this plant spirit can help women see their lives from alternative perspectives and solve problems using these creative new points of view. Microdosing Ayahuasca allows women with postpartum depression work with the plant spirit without having to go through a hallucinogenic experience.

Consider combining Ayahuasca microdosing with a DreamLight.app experience to do a meditative journey using brain entrainment and hypnosis in the safety of your own home while baby is napping.  Click here to buy Ayahuasca microdosing drops.

Psilocybin Microdosing -

Many people report positive changes using psilocybin microdosing for postpartum depression. Psilocybin or Magic Mushrooms have a more mischievous personality than Ayahausca, but sometimes, this is exactly what women need after the seriousness of childbirth.

You can combine Psilocybin microdosing with a DreamLight.app experience to access to enhance the effects of this natural postpartum depression medicine.

Amino Acids: Natural Cure for Postpartum Depression

It’s so unfortunate that women with postpartum depression don’t know about amino acids. Amino acids are found in foods. They’re the building blocks of proteins. And proteins are the stuff used to build muscles and all of our soft tissues in the body. So we need a lot of proteins and many women are deficient in the amino acid building blocks are spending 9 months building a baby. You see, the thing is, amino acids are not only used to build our soft tissues like the skin and muscles, for example, but they’re also used to build neurotransmitters. The herbs above work so well as a cure for postpartum depression in part because they contain essential amino acids that our bodies use to build neurotransmitters that affects how we think and feel.

Herbs, of course, also have a consciousness and they contain other medicinal substances too. So the final result of herbal treatment for postpartum depression is often a bit different than the final result of postpartum depression treatment using amino acids. But some women prefer using amino acids for postpartum depression and that’s fine. Some women use both amino acids and herbal therapies for postpartum depression. There’s little danger of overdosing on amino acids even if women are taking herbs too just because there are amino acids in food. So our bodies work with these supplements by taking what it needs and releasing whatever it doesn’t need through the organs of detoxification.

The two main amino acids that women can benefit from in terms of postpartum depression and postpartum PTSD is L-Tyrosine and L-Tryptophan, but it might be helpful for women to simply drink a protein shake that contains the essential amino acids while also taking the herbal remedies for postpartum depression that we talk above. In any case, let’s talk briefly about the two most important anti-depression amino acids below:

L-Tryptophan -

L-Tryptophan is the amino acid precursor for serotonin. It can be taken instead of 5-HTP. L-Tryptophan is converted by the body into 5-HTP, but it takes a lot longer for that conversion to take place and this amino is sometimes diverted for use in building other structures in the body. That’s why 5-HTP is usually preferable to L-Tryptophan. Nonetheless, some women may not be able to get 5-HTP, so we wanted to mention L-Tryptophan as an alternative. Take 1500 mg daily.

L-Tyrosine -

L-Tyrosine is the amino acid precursor for dopamine, noradrenaline, and adrenaline. Women who can’t obtain Mucuna pruriens or Kudzu should consider L-Tyrosine supplements as an natural alternative treatment for postpartum depression.

Take 6000-8000 mg daily in 2 divided doses of 3000-4000 mg each.

Foods That Cure Postpartum Depression

We just finished discussing herbs that contain amino acids and amino acid supplements that are used to build neurotransmitters, but if you live in a country where these items aren’t available or if you simply don’t have the funds to buy supplements like these, then you should try to eat a lot of chicken meat and eggs as an alternative. Eggs and chicken meat contain all of the essential acids so that can help women rebuild their neurotransmitter balance if supplements are accessible or available. Additionally, alfalfa tea, also known a Medicago sativa provides a number of the essential nutrients that women need during their postpartum recovery period and it also restores the liver and gallbladder to their normal level of functioning. Medicago sativa is an extremely non-toxic and affordable herb--you can sprout the alfalfa seeds on your window sill and each them on salads, but it can work wonders as an herbal remedy for postpartum depression. If you don't have the funds to buy supplements or the other treatments listed in this guide, start with Medicago sativa and a high-protein diet as a cure for postpartum depression. Administer 1 teaspoon up to 3 times per day in boiling water as a tea. Let it steep for at least 15 minutes.

Nutritional Supplements to Cure Postpartum Depression

As we mentioned above, though herbal remedies for postpartum depression are “foundational”, nutrient supplements are essential. We spend a lot of time preaching the virtues of Lugol’s iodine as a substance that promotes immunity, fertility, proper reproductive function, balanced weight and body mass index, and stable mood. Lugol’s iodine used to be the most prescribe medicinal substance on the planet, but in the 1980s, not only was it no longer prescribed by doctors, this essential nutrient substance was effectively removed from the food supply altogether. The removal of iodine from bread to put it in salt (iodine evaporates out of the “iodized salt” boxes within days of opening the container) marked the beginning of the obesity epidemic, the infertility epidemic, the autoimmune disease epidemic, and the epidemic of breast cancer and other reproductive organ cancers.

Lugol’s iodine 2%

Lugol’s iodine is THE nutrients substance that feeds the reproductive organs and the thyroid gland. Together these two endocrine stations function to help us feel balanced, grounded, and connected to the world, our work, and our families. Many MANY women who take iodine report that within about a month of taking their first daily dose, their brain fog lifts and they feel awake again. Read more about the use of Lugol’s iodine here.

Pregnancy requires a lot of iodine and women who give birth to a first child without supplementing with iodine may suddenly find that they have fertility issues on trying to conceive a second child. These fertility issues are often accompanied by symptoms of disease often of an autoimmune variety as the body becomes susceptible to infection and the immune system stops functioning properly. Lugol’s iodine supplementation supports conception and fertility, it supports women and the growing baby throughout pregnancy, it supports women and babies during lactation, and it supports them both after breastfeeding ends. Lugol’s is perhaps THE MOST IMPORTANT NUTRIENT SUBSTANCE THAT WOMEN CAN TAKE DURING PREGNANCY AND LACTATION TO ENSURE THAT THEIR BABY WILL BE HEALTHY, but it is also the prime nutrient substance to protect women from all reproductive organ cancers period.

If you want to feel awake when you’re awake and if you want to feel alive and focused when you’re awake, you’ll need to work with Lugol’s iodine. Note that at first, the Lugol’s iodine dosing may feel like “purging depression” where you symptoms might get worse. That’s because Lugol’s is literally doing just that. It’s removing toxic bromide / bromine from the body. Bromide / bromine is a substance that’s ubiquitous in the world today. In the U.S., bromide / bromine is in the air that we breathe, the water that we drink (and often in swimming pools), in soda and bottled citrus drinks, bromated bread products, and in over-the-counter drugs like cough syrups. But bromide / bromine is famous for its ability to cause psychiatric illness! In fact, in the early 1900s, it was mainstream knowledge that bromide exposure was the cause of at least 15% of all mental health hospitalizations in the U.S. Despite this, bromide is now in bread and soda! And in cough syrups! It’s sometimes even used in the municipal water supply!

The thing is, if your body is deficient in iodine, a mineral it absolutely needs, then it will search in desperation for anything that resembles iodine. And bromide / bromine is in the same family as iodine on the periodic table. So, to the body, bromide / bromine looks very similar to iodide / iodine. But here’s the thing, if your body is NOT deficient in iodine / iodide, then it easily recognizes bromine / bromide for what it is…a charlatan and a toxin. So the antidote to bromide / bromine exposure and poisoning is Lugol’s iodine. And Lugol’s can protect you and your child from bromide / bromine bioaccumulation if you take it religiously at 50 mg per day (20 drops) with supportive nutrients like selenium.

Often our Amazon links to medicinal products that cure disease disappear mysteriously shortly after we publish. Please click here to buy Lugol's iodine and support our outside vendors.

Lugol’s Iodine 2% Dosage:

IMPORTANT: The supportive nutrients are essential for people to be able to absorb iodine. Whereas in the past supportive nutrients were not necessary, today, many nutrients have been systematically removed from the food supply to create nutrient deficiencies that cascade into serious health problems that are hard for people to understand and resolve. Read more about government sponsored nutritional deficiencies here.

Adults: Administer 20 drops of Lugol’s iodine 2% daily either to the skin (allowing it soak in) or in drinking water.

Babies and Children: Administer 1 drop of Lugol’s iodine 2% daily at 1 drop per year of age. An infant would get 1 drop per day. A 3 year old would get 3 drops per day. A 13 year old would 13 drops per day and so on and so forth until adulthood when they would begin taking 20 drops per day.

Lugol’s Iodine 2% Supportive Nutrients:

To get the most out of Lugol’s iodine therapy for postpartum depression, you must take the supportive nutrients listed below. These nutrients, in fact, should be taken 2 weeks before you even start taking Lugol’s to help remove bromine / bromide from the body with gentleness in order to avoid worsening depression symptoms. If you have an existing thyroid disease of any kind, start taking these supportive nutrients at least 2 months before beginning therapy with Lugol’s iodine. Again, the concern here is about bromine / bromide detoxification and ensuring that the removal of bromide / bromine from the body happens gently in a slow, but steady kind of progression. Lugol’s iodine used to be a very straightforward and quick cure for serious diseases. Today, people have to detoxify from bromide / bromine before they can experience how Lugol’s iodine supplement can totally change their health profile.

  1. Vitamin C – 2000 to 5000 mgs/day – take this supplement 4 to 6 hours AFTER iodine
  2. Selenium – 200 to 400 mcg/day – (assists with detoxification and thyroid secretion)
  3. Unrefined salt  / Celtic or Himalayan sea salt – replace your regular table salt with unrefined salt.
  4. Magnesium – 400 - 600 mg/day
  5. Vitamin B3 - 500 mg per day - This nutrient is also essential for those with hypothyroidism or hyperthyroidism. It is also very beneficial for those without a known thyroid issues.
  6. Vitamin B2 - 400 mg per day - This nutrient dosage is absolutely essential for anyone with hypothyroidism or hyperthyroidism. It can be extremely beneficial to those without thyroid problems.
  7. Zinc / Copper  - 15 mg / 2 mg
  8. Sea Water Supplement - 1 tsp. per  8 ounces of water
  9. Vitamin K2 / MK-7- 200 mcg per day (note that without vitamin K2, the body will not be able to properly absorb iodine).

N-Acetyl Cysteine / NAC: Natural Treatment for Postpartum Depression

N-Acetyl Cysteine or NAC is a sulfur-based nutrient substance that has many medicinal uses. It can be used as a powerful preventative agent and cure for COVID-19 and serious lung diseases like cystic fibrosis because of its ability to thin mucus. It can be used to cure infertility via its mucus thinning and detoxifying effects in the vagina. And NAC has been used as a natural treatment for addictions and other mental health issues because of its ability to quell obsessive, nagging negative thoughts via its detoxifying effect on brain tissues.

NAC is another nutrient substance that can be taken before pregnancy to promote fertility, during pregnancy to prevent intra-amniotic infection in the fetus, as well as to prevent COVID infection in the mother, and it can be taken after pregnancy to treat and prevent postpartum depression. At higher doses (2400-3000 mg per day), NAC can help women stop ruminating on toxic thoughts by literally removing toxins from the brain (specifically, NAC binds with excess ammonia to remove it from brain tissues). Many women experience a shift on their first day after they begin taking NAC.

NAC is safe for use during lactation and breastfeeding. In fact, infants benefit from higher levels of sulfur in the mother’s breast milk.

NOW Supplements, NAC (N-Acetyl Cysteine) 600 mg with Selenium & Molybdenum, 250 Veg Capsules

NAC Dosage:

Take 600 mg 4 times daily for a total of 2400 mg per day. Or take 1000 mg 3 times daily for a total of 3000 mg per day. Note that the product that we link to above contains other nutrients like selenium and molybdenum that support iodine absorption in the body too.

Repurposed Over-the-Counter Medications for Postpartum Depression

Drugs that were once prescription-only regularly become over-the-counter drugs when their patent runs out. One of these drugs, Methylene Blue, is en extremely valuable medicinal agent for women who are struggling with postpartum depression.

Methylene Blue has a huge spectrum of medicinal action. It has to be used with care and you need to dose it properly according to your weight (see below). At lower doses like the ones we recommend in our dosing chart, Methylene Blue has one set of medicinal actions. At higher doses those, the medicinal action changes significantly though such that this medicine is almost like two medicines in one. HOWEVER, Methylene Blue can deoxygenate the blood at too high of a dose which can be dangerous if not counterproductive to the treatment of postpartum depression. So stay within the dose limitations we recommend according to your weight.

You should not take Methylene Blue with other prescription antidepressant agents. And it should not be taken with 5-HTP either. Choose one or the other, either Methylene Blue OR 5-HTP to enhance your serotonin levels.

Methylene Blue is a miracle for women who have taken those other prescription antidepressants with all of their side effects. Methylene Blue causes few or no side effects while simultaneously treating infection, oxygenating the blood (at lower doses), and fighting depression all in one medication.

DrLact gives Methylene Blue a score of 3 out of 8 which makes it low risk during lactation as long as mother stick to the dosing that we recommend. Methylene Blue is NOT, however, safe during pregnancy.

Postpartum Depression At Home Treatment

Sadly, it isn’t common knowledge that the gallbladder and liver are under a lot of pressure during pregnancy. The liver and gallbladder work together and both are intimately involved with the production and balance of reproductive hormones. And obviously, during pregnancy reproductive hormones are at very different levels than when a woman is not pregnancy. These hormone changes lead to a buildup of gallstones and gallbladder-related discomfort. Many women have morning sickness as a result of these changes in gallbladder function and the presence of gallstones and “sludge”. Other women experience a nagging back pain, especially in the shoulders, while others have neck pains and even migraines as a result of these gallstones. And while doctors tell women that the only way to treat gallstones is to do surgery, this isn’t true at all.

Below, we discuss the Hulda Clark Gallbladder Cleanse as a natural cure for postpartum depression. This cleanse should not be done during pregnancy, but women who wish to conceive would be wise to do at least 3 rounds of the cleanse over the course of 2 months and women who are in the throes of postpartum depression should also commit to 3 rounds of this cleanse also. Some women literally snap out of their depression with just one treatment, but if you’ve recently been pregnant, we really recommend that you do at least 3 and maybe 4 rounds to clear your gallbladder and your liver of stones, sludge, and toxic “congestion. This is a cleanse that clears up the skin, clears up digestion, and that also clears up a negative mood.

Removing Gallbladder and Liver Congestion: Natural Treatments for Postpartum Depression

Hulda Clark Gallbladder Cleanse

Gallstones are some of the most common issues during pregnancy because they’re made up of cholesterol, the precursor substance used to produce reproductive hormones. For this reason, Tte Hulda Clark Gallbladder Cleanse is something that every pregnant woman should put on her To Do List for after delivery. Gallstones and bile sludge in the liver and gallbladder can cause feelings of apathy, a sense of disconnection from the world, brain fog, and physical exhaustion and generalized malaise among other things. Very few people realize the effect the liver congestion and gallbladder stones and sludge can have on their mental state. Often after 1-2 gallbladder / liver cleanses, the liver and the gallbladder start to clear, the skin gets clearer, the mind gets clearer, and there are overnight changes in the way women feel. The postpartum depression can lift almost immediately after doing one of these cleanses, so we highly recommend it, especially for women who have recently delivered a baby.

Do a Hulda Clark Gallbladder Cleanse once every month for 3 to 4 months following delivery to fully clean out the liver and the gallbladder.

Click here to visit our information page about how to do the Hulda Clark Gallbladder Cleanse.

Coffee Enemas for Postpartum Depression

Coffee enemas, though not as successful at removing gallbladder sludge and stones, is very helpful in getting rid of liver congestion. Often, women notice little yellow or black, corn-sized flecks in their stools after coffee enemas. These flecks are bile sludge and tiny liver stones that clog up the liver ducts, causing headaches, general body pain and restlessness, brain fog, depression and apathy, and a general feeling of ill health.

Do up to 2 coffee enemas daily using 1 liter of warm organic coffee.
