How to Use PEMF: Lyme Disease Alternative Treatment
What is PEMF?
Pulsed Electro-Magnetic Frequencies (PEMF) is a type of treatment administered using a medical device that mimics the natural healing frequencies of the human body to promote faster healing. One of the most important benefits of PEMF is its ability to open capillaries (the tiniest blood vessels in the body) to restore blood flow to areas that have restricted blood flow due to injury or disease. Increasing the microcirculation to these areas of the body decreases pain and inflammation while also promoting tissue growth and healing. The Food Industry uses PEMF to control the growth of microbes and preserve food items. PEMF has scientifically proven anti-microbial effects against the following:- Lactobacillus diolivorans
- Pediococcus parvulus
- Salmonella enterica
- Kloeckera apiculata
- Bacillus cereus
- Dekkera anomala
- Dekkera bruxellensis
- Saccharomyces cerevisiae
- Gluconobacter oxydans
- Lactobacillus hilgardii
- Lactobacillus pantarum

Lyme Disease Overview
Lyme disease is a tick-borne bacterial infection caused by the Borrelia burgdorferi bacteria. About 20,000 cases of Lyme disease are reported each year in the U.S. alone. Typically, Lyme disease takes place in three stages:
- Early infection with symptoms such as:
- erythema migrans (the Bull’s eye rash),
- general malaise,
- fever,
- headache,
- muscle pain, and
- joint pain.
- Early general Lyme disease infection (within days to week after the initial infectio) including symptoms such as:
- Neurological symptoms
- Musculoskeletal symptoms
- Cardiovascular symptoms
- Late general Lyme disease infection
- Joint pain and inflammation
- Neuropathy (nerve-related pain)
- Encephalopathy (brain damage caused by the Borrelia burgdorferi infection)
Alternative Medicines for Lyme Disease
Though antibiotics like doxycycline are regularly prescribed to patients with Lyme disease infection, the bacteria appears to be rather resistant to these pharmaceutical antibiotic drugs. As such, many patients go on to develop chronic Lyme disease must be treated using alternative medicines for Lyme disease such as Chlorine Dioxide Solution, an herbal remedy such as Andrographis paniculata or Terminalia chebula or a Venom Therapy such as Kambo or Apitherapy. Another type of therapy that offers promise for Lyme disease sufferers is PEMF or Pulsed Electromagnetic Frequency therapy. Some experts have dubbed the relapsing symptoms of chronic Lyme disease as Post-Lyme disease syndrome. As a general rule, antibiotics that are prescribed by doctors aren't able to treat chronic Lyme disease; this may be because, like other autoimmune diseases such as psoriasis or Lupus, the bacteria causing this syndrome colonize the liver and gallbladder where they can’t be touched by the antibiotics prescribed by doctors. The liver, after all, is the organ responsible for breaking down antibiotic substances, so it is generally not able to treat the liver with these antibiotics. However, Lyme disease sufferers can still kill the bacteria using Reactive Oxygen Species medicines that easily travel anywhere in the body and that are not broken down by the liver. As such, Reactive Oxygen Species Medicines, in particular, Chlorine Dioxide Solution / Miracle Mineral Supplement is one of the most important alternative medicines for Lyme disease. Patients use the Reactive Oxygen Species medicine to kill Lyme disease naturally (the body naturally produces these Reactive Oxygen Species to protect itself from pathogens) while simultaneously providing supportive therapies to rebuild tissues and fortify the immune system at the same time.

PEMF: Lyme Disease Therapy
One of the most compelling reasons why PEMF should be used with Reactive Oxygen Species medicines like Chlorine Dioxide Solution is because PEMF famously opens capillaries (the tiniest blood vessels in the body). At first glance, this may not seem like a big deal for Lyme disease sufferers, but as a general rule, if you’re trying to heal your body or cure a disease, your first task is to re-establish blood flow to the areas of the body that are ailing. The autonomic nervous system consists of 3 branches: 1) the sympathetic / fight-or-flight nervous system, 2) the parasympathetic rest-and-digest system and 3) the parasympathetic “play-dead” system
The autonomic nervous system is the part of the body that works with capillaries and blood flow. Every artery in the body has a companion sympathetic nerve that travels alongside it throughout the body. This sympathetic nerve tells the artery when to dilate and when to constrict. When the artery dilates, more blood flow happens. When the artery constricts, blood flow can be partially or completely shut off from that area of the body.
When a person is under a lot of stress, the sympathetic nervous system may decide to shut down certain areas of the body to divert blood flow to other areas of the body. The famous example of this sympathetic nervous system response has to do with a car accident wherein a person is trapped under a car. The sympathetic nervous system or the fight-or-flight nervous system diverts blood flow to make it possible for bystanders to physically lift the car off the person trapped underneath. Normally, these average people wouldn’t be able to lift a car, but through the action of the autonomic nervous system, they suddenly develop superhuman strength.
So blood-flow diversion is not a small thing. With enough blood flow to the right areas of the body, a normal person turns into superman (or superwoman). This is a fact. So we can all agree that blood-flow makes a difference in terms of how our bodies function. So, it shouldn’t be hard for you to imagine how changing blood flow tot organs like, for example, the liver and gallbladder might alter the course of disease. Let’s say, for example, that the liver and the gallbladder are host to parasites, or a bacterial infection with Borrelia burgdorferi. And let’s also imagine that the body reflexively shut off some of the blood supply to these organs. Maybe the body shut off the blood supply prior to infection with the organs. Maybe there was a stressful emotional event in the person’s life that caused this reaction. Or perhaps the Borrelia burgdorferi bacteria colonized the liver shortly after the person was infected and as a result, the sympathetic nervous system made the executive decision to shut down some of the blood supply to the liver and gallbladder. In either case, blood supply to these organs was diminished, which led to poorly oxygenated tissues and general debilitation of the liver and gallbladder. To re-open the blood supply using a medical device like PEMF to cure Lyme disease can help restore blood flow. And, if you’re taking an herbal remedy for Lyme disease or if you’re using a Reactive Oxygen Species medicine like Chlorine Dioxide Solution, more of these medicines will be able to reach the liver/gallbladder to treat the disease.
Of course, neurological symptoms will also be impacted by the use of PEMF to treat Lyme disease. PEMF, after all, has proven useful in a variety of situations involving autoimmune disease including:
- Multiple Sclerosis
- Fibromyalgia
- Chronic Fatigue Syndrome
Some experts have suggested that fibromyalgia and chronic fatigue syndrome should both be classified as diseases that can be caused by Lyme diseae / Borrelia burgdorferi, though, in this author’s opinion, these diseases might be caused by any number of bacterial colonizations that might also take up residence in the liver or gallbladder. Multiple Sclerosis and chronic Lyme disease follow similar trajectories, which has led some scholars to believe that Lyme disease should be classified as an autoimmune disease. In any case, PEMF therapies have shown promise in treating all of these autoimmune diseases through the following mechanisms of action:
- Alternative treatment for Multiple Sclerosis symptoms
- Tissue regeneration
- Reduced inflammation
- Anti-microbial effects (via improved blood flow as discussed above and enhanced oxygenation of tissues)
- Improved blood circulation (for the treatment of Lyme disease heart problems)
- Stimulation of cellular function (to energize the cells)
- Healthy bone growth (to reduce Lyme disease joint inflammation and pain)
- Healthy cartilage growth (to reduce Lyme disease joint pain and inflammation)
- Reduces cartilage damage
- Regenerates nerve tissues
- Alternative treatment for treatment resistant depression
- Reduces pain / pain relief
- Chronic muscle pain
- Post-surgical pain
- Carpal tunnel syndrome
- Diabetic neuropathy
- Fibromyalgia pain

Best PEMF Device for Lyme Disease
Not all PEMF machines are created equal. For example, while there are some affordable PEMF machines available on Amazon, many produce electromagnetic waves that aren’t terribly useful in the treatment of disease or to assist with wound healing. On the other hand, though the BEMER PEMF devices are amazing and everyone loves them, they’re also really expensive. Not everyone in the world can afford a BEMER. So below we’ve created a list called The best PEMF Device for Lyme Disease with affordability in mind:I own a MiraMate Mini Magic, personally because I travel a lot and I like to have all of my medical devices with me wherever I go. The MiraMate Mini Magic is affordable, portable and lightweight and it works well. I’ve had it for many years. On the other hand though, the MiraMate Big Magic would be my first choice as a tool that I’d use to treat myself if I wasn't a traveler. It’s bigger and a bit more robust, and I’m sure it would work just as well as the MiraMate Mini. For someone with Lyme disease who intends to use PEMF therapy daily, the MiraMate Big Magic is probably the best choice.
For best results against Lyme, PEMF should be used once or twice daily with either an herbal remedy for Lyme disease or Reactive Oxygen Species medicines. Kambo and/or Bee Venom therapy can be used to recalibrate the autonomic nervous system at the beginning, middle, and end of Lyme disease treatment to get rid of fatigue, reduce inflammation, and generally support the same processes that are supported by PEMF.
How to Use PEMF as an Alternative Treatment for Lyme Disease
As a general rule, you'll want to administer PEMF treatments twice daily for about 15 minutes. Change the mode on the machine so that your body is exposed to slightly new electro-magnetic frequencies with each "dose" of treatment.Cure Lyme Disease: Scientifically Proven Treatments for Lyme Disease & Co-Infections - BUY NOW!
