How to Treat Teething Pain without Acetaminophen or NSAIDs
Teething pain is excruciating and it can interfere with a baby’s ability to achieve certain developmental milestones while it is happening. Recently, the U.S. government proclaimed that acetaminophen is toxic for children leaving dangerous NSAIDs as the only other maintream pain-relieving alternative for parents. But Mitragyna speciosa, also known as kratom, is a powerful herb that provides long-term, reliably pain-relief for children without the same risks as NSAIDs or acetaminophen.

Kratom is administered to children and infants in Southeast Asia as a traditional remedy for teething pain, but it’s hard to find support for the use of kratom in children. Indeed, a lot of funding has been put into the effort to cover up the value of this herb for pain-relief, allergy relief, as a cancer treatment and diabetes treatment, as an herb that can be used as a cough suppressant during illness or as a treatment for diarrhea. Kratom is the type of herb that you keep in the medicine cabinet because it works to treat so many different health issues in both adults and children. But Big Pharma and the opioid rehab industry would prefer that you know nothing about kratom because this herb can be used to safely stop taking dangerous, addictive opiates.Lydian used Mitragyna speciosa / kratom as an acetaminophen-alternative for teething when her daughter, Maya was a baby. The kratom was able to help baby Maya relax and relieve the excruciating pain of teething so that she could sleep and rest quietly at times. Kratom does not carry the same risks as NSAIDs in terms of gastrointestinal bleeding and it is far less toxic. It does not cause the same risky respiratory depression as opioid drugs because kratom does not activate the beta-arrestin-2 pathway. Maya responded well to this medicine when it was administered in raw honey. Despite its bitterness, she knew that it helped her and she willingly took it for that reason.

Always start with a low dose of kratom when working with children. Administer the first two doses of kratom when the child is wakeful and active so that you can watch how they respond to the medicine before you try giving it to them overnight.Choose 3 or more vein-colors of kratom and several strains and rotate which one you administer day-by-day. Note that red vein kratom is more sedative. White vein is stimulating and far less pain-relieving than the other vein colors. Red kratom works best for overnight pain due to its sedative effects.
