At-Home Homeopathic Treatment for Cataracts
Tissue salts for the treatment of cataracts were formulated originally by Dr. Wilhelm Schuessler. He developed his formula based on analysis of the ashes of people who had been cremated and he used this information in combination with information about their disease diagnoses to determine which minerals they were lacking. He determined that there are 12 vital minerals that all humans need in order to maintain health. The tissues salts can be used in children or adults and they can even be taken along with other medications on an on-going basis. They work to maintain balance in the body and have been used to cure a variety of illnesses including cataracts. Some practitioners refer to the Schuessler Salts as “homeopathic” but technically, they wouldn’t be classified according to this model because they aren’t selected according to the principle “like cures like”. They are, however, potentized like homeopathic medicines at 6X or 12X formulations. The 12 Tissues Salts include: Cineraria Maritima - Reduces corneal opacities and cataracts. Causticum - Improves eye muscle strength. Silicea - Reduces scarring. Calcarea Fluorata - Works in tandem with Sepia to improve the eye’s vascular system.
