Saliva pH Test Strips

While you are treating a systemic yeast infection, it's helpful to have pH test strips available to test your body pH. These will help you make sure that your alkalization diet and protocol is working correctly, and it will make it so you can easily adjust your diet as needed to be more or less alkaline. When treating a Candida albicans infection, you should aim for a pH of 7.5 - 8 during the first three weeks of treatment. During this time, it's best to combine an alkalinizing diet with sodium bicarbonate treatment (take 1 tsp of baking soda in water 30 minutes before or after eating, 5 times per day). An alkaline environment is not comfortable for yeast, which is what makes this treatment effective. Make sure to take a week off after 3 weeks of treatment to give your body a chance to recalibrate.   NOTE: Do not use pH strips immediately after drinking or eating something. Wait about 30 minutes after consuming anything to take the pH test, or else you may get an incorrect result by accident.
