How to Use Essential Oils to Cure Black Mold Poisoning
Essential oils contain powerful, concentrated forms of plant constituents, and should therefore be used with care. Some essential oils can be taken internally in the vast majority of cases, while others should only be taken internally under supervision or not at all (i.e. pennyroyal essential oil taken internally can literally kill you). The essential oils below can mostly be taken internally, and I’ve made note of special considerations where applicable.
Oregano (Origanum vulgare) Essential Oil
Oregano essential oil is one of the most powerful antifungal agents available in the world of essential oils. It also has antiviral and antibacterial properties. Studies have shown that oregano essential oil can inhibit the production of aflatoxins produced by Aspergillus spp. black mold in particular.

Garlic (Allium sativum) Essential Oil
Garlic essential oil is another especially powerful antifungal oil. While it’s possible to take supplements containing raw garlic, or to eat a few cloves of raw garlic daily, the more concentrated medicine that garlic essential oil offers may be appealing to some people.

Thyme (Thymus vulgaris) Essential Oil
Thyme is perhaps one of the best essential oil choices when it comes to treating black mold poisoning. Thymol, a primary component in thyme essential oil, has been studied extensively in regard to its antifungal effects, and thyme in general has been used for hundreds of years as an effective treatment for respiratory infection and disease. Recent studies have demonstrated that thymol and thyme essential oil have activity against Aspergillus spp. black mold and can inhibit aflatoxin production.Incorporate thyme essential oil in salad dressings or sauces, or take it at a dose of 1-2 drops of oil, 2-3 times per day, combined with another carrier oil like coconut oil. Because oregano, garlic, thyme essential oils are all antifungal and have activity against black mold, they could be mixed in with olive oil and other spices of your choosing to go on top of spaghetti or as a dip for bread as an extra way to get additional medicine into your daily routine. Use a diffuser to release this essential oil into your environment during the day if you wish (this will kill neutralize aflatoxins in your environment, and since you will be breathing it in, again, this is an additional way to add thyme essential oil into your daily healing protocol).
Clove (Syzygium aromaticum) Essential Oil
Clove essential oil has some similar properties to tea tree essential oil, and is considered one of the most important essential oils for the treatment of black mold both inside and outside the body. Clove essential oil inactivates mold and prevents spores from growing; it has action against a few different kinds of molds, including Aspergillus spp., a black mold, as well as Fusarium oxysporum and Fusarium moniliforme, Mucor spp., Trichophyton rubrum (the fungus that causes athlete’s foot), and Microsporum gypseum.Clove essential oil, like some other essential oils on this list, may be administered either in a capsulized form or at a dose of 1-2 drops combined with a carrier oil like coconut oil. Coconut oil pulling, an Ayurvedic technique for detoxification, may be able to support black mold detoxification in some cases, and adding clove oil to the coconut oil before swishing the oil in your mouth for 1 minute may help support healing as well as improve dental health.
Tea Tree (Melaleuca alternifolia) Essential Oil
Tea tree essential oil is a popular remedy for fungal infections on the skin. Problems on the skin relating to black mold exposure may benefit from tea tree essential oil, especially in combination with other mold poisoning treatments. Combine 4-5 drops of tea tree essential oil with 2 tablespoons of a carrier oil (I recommend coconut oil, since this has antifungal properties as well, or bitter apricot kernel oil) and apply to the affected area of the skin a few times daily. If you have sensitive skin, you may need to make a more diluted mix or apply the treatment less frequently. Even if you don’t have skin manifestations of black mold exposure, you can apply tea tree oil in this way to your chest and neck.

Cinnamon (Cinnamomum verum) Essential Oil
Cinnamon essential oil has been studied both in regard to its effects in preventing mold development on foods (where it is extremely successful), as well as in regard to preventing and healing the effects of black mold exposure in humans. Essential oil from cinnamon inhibits the growth of Aspergillus spp. mold, and also prevents the toxicity of certain aflatoxins by binding with their DNA (thereby rendering them ineffective) and neutralizing toxic reactive oxygen species in and produced by the aflatoxins.
