Endometriosis is such an unfair disease. So many women struggle with endometriosis without every knowing the cause or the cure. Believe it or not, many doctors have used iodine (and the other supportive nutrients, herbs, and enzymes we talk about in this article) to successfully cure endometriosis, but this is a well-guarded secret. If you made it here to see this article, you're lucky...share the information with other women and tell everyone you know. Iodine therapy changes women's lives.

Cure Endometriosis Permanently

Can Endometriosis Go Away?

Yes and no. A woman with endometriosis can, in theory, make significant lifestyle changes that lead to a cure for endometriosis. But women can actively make an endometriosis cure happen too. Yes, I know...this all sounds too simple if not dreamy. But I've been working with the treatments that I recommend in this article for many years. I've used them to cure my husband's cancer. I've used them to cure cancer in other people. I've watched these treatments change women's lives for the better, not just women with endometriosis, but women with various health problems that are related to reproductive organ malfunction. This is an intensive protocol for healing as you'll see if you scroll to the bottom of this page. If you aren't willing to spend some cash and buy the nutrients, organize them for yourself, and then take them religiously for no less than 6 months before deciding whether or not they're working for you, then you'll never know what this protocol can do for you. Many women with endometriosis aren't ready to cure the disease. They prefer to take the band-aid treatments their doctors recommend and go under the knife to experience the full drama and pain that this disease causes. But I'm telling you, it isn't necessary to endure endometriosis any longer. If you want to cure this disease, even endometrial cancer, commit to the recommended treatments that I talk about in this article for no less than 6 months.

What is Endometriosis?

Endometriosis is a disease of the endometrium in the uterus. Normally, the cells that make up the endometrium stay inside the uterus, but in women with endometriosis, the endometrial cells begin to grow in locations outside of the uterus. Often, in endometriosis, the endometrium builds up on the ovaries, inside and around the fallopian tubes, and on tissues around the uterus, but it can also build up in other areas of the body. Extrapelvic endometriosis is common.

Women with endometriosis often experience heavy periods, intestinal pain during bowel movements, general pelvic pain, and infertility. Pain during sexual intercourse is also common.

Though endometriosis is commonly viewed, especially by doctors, as a disease that only involves the organs within the immediate vicinity of the uterus, extrapelvic endometriosis has become much more common and some scientists have noted this fact.

Endometriosis is a disease that tends to impact young women more than older women. Younger women are less savvy and less knowledgeable about conventional medicine. A diagnosis of endometriosis is often the first serious diagnosis that a young woman might experience in the early years of her adolescence or adulthood. While many of the other women’s health issues that we’ve presented here are diagnoses that women might receive after they’ve entered into a monogamous relationship, endometriosis is unique. This is a disease that can take shape even in young girls who are just beginning to menstruate. So Lydi and I felt like we needed to give this topic some special attention and set the context carefully. If you’re a young woman who’s been diagnosed and you’re looking for alternative treatments for endometriosis, you might be shocked to learn that there’s a cure for this disease.

How is this possible? How is it possible that there’s a cure for endometriosis, a common women’s health issue, that doctors seem to be unable to treat, let alone cure? Again, if you’re young and if this is your first serious encounter with conventional medicine, it may be hard to believe. The doctor says, “there is no cure” and it seems improper to disbelieve him or her. The doctor, after all, is an authority figure. Parents may get involved in any discussion regarding natural cures for endometriosis and refuse to buy into these “crazy” ideas about alternative treatments for endometriosis. So let’s talk a bit about the history of endometriosis first.

The History of Endometriosis

Endometriosis has an interesting history. Some scientists who study this disease have looked backward in time to try to find ancient reports of endometriosis, but without success. Looking back into ancient accounts of symptoms experienced by women turned up no evidence of endometriosis for some researchers. But whether a given scientist finds evidence of endometriosis in ancient records or not depends on what he/she is looking for in the data. Other researchers say that endometriosis is an ancient disease and they equate it to Freudian “hysteria” and things like “the animalistic womb”. The fact that pregnancy can reduce symptoms of endometriosis plays into these ideas, but whether endometriosis is actually to blame for concepts like “the wandering womb” or not is up for speculation.

Fast forward several thousand years, to the end of the 19th century, and the first publication regarding cysts on women’s ovaries was finally published in 1899.

The question of whether endometriosis existed prior to the industrial revolution is debatable. What we do know though is that extrapelvic endometriosis is a severe form of this disease that was first diagnosed and observed in the mid 1980s. So while this super-common women’s health issue, endometriosis, has somehow managed to exist without a formal narrative of discovery and development, it has managed to become entwined, even in the modern era, with mythologies and misunderstandings about women.

The mythology of endometriosis, Freudian hysteria, animalistic wombs, and wandering wombs contributes to a cover-up about the actual cause of this disease which is a combination of specific nutrient deficiencies that make the body vulnerable to toxins that have become common in the environment since the early 1900s.

Connecting the Dots: A Historical Tour of Lead and Bromine Poisoning in the Creation of Endometriosis

Let’s Talk about Lead

In 1860, Charles Dickens wrote the following in the Uncommercial Traveler:

I saw a horrible brown heap on the floor in the corner, which, but for previous experience in this dismal wise, I might not have suspected to be ‘the bed.’ There was something thrown upon it and I asked what it was.

‘Tis the poor craythur that stays here, sur; and ‘tis very bad she is, ‘tis very bad shes been this long time, and ‘tis better she’ll never be … and ‘tis the lead, sur.’

‘The what?’

‘The lead, sur. Sure, ‘tis the lead-mills, where women gets took on at 18 pence a day, sur, when they makes application early enough, and is lucky and wanted; and ‘tis lead pisoned she is, sur, and some of them gets lead pisoned soon, and some of them gets lead pisoned later, and some but not many, niver; and ‘tis all according to the constitooshun, sur, and some constitooshuns is strong, and some is weak, and her constitooshun is lead pisoned, bad as can be, sur … ‘

So we have to assume that in the 1800s, women did not have access to quality reproductive healthcare and that to find a doctor with a curious demeanor who was willing to probe (no pun intended) into the cause of a woman’s pelvic pain, was a rare event. A woman working in or near the lead mills would likely never be seen by a doctor in her entire lifetime and if she was examined, her southern regions would have been decidedly off-limits and viewed only from the perspective of the male sex.

So let’s say that lead exposure can cause endometriosis. In fact, I looked to see if anyone had studied lead exposure and endometriosis and indeed, lead and cadmium (both heavy metals) increases the risk of endometriosis in women. Exposure to both lead and cadmium synergistically increases the risk even higher.

I should also mention that in populations of people who have been scientifically studied in recent years in regard to lead exposure and blood levels of lead, females tend to have higher blood levels than males when an entire population has been exposed to this heavy metal. One study performed in Saudi Arabia on blood levels of lead in children noted that girls and women had higher levels of lead and the scientists noted the possible sources of lead exposure as the following:

  • Toothpaste
  • Kohl / Eye Shadow / Eye Liner
  • Toys
  • Canned Foods
  • Canned Juices
  • Lipstick / Lip gloss
  • Newspaper ink

If you live in a so-called “developed” western country such as the U.S., you might be inclined to look at the above list and think, “we don’t have lead in our toothpastes or in women’s makeup, etc.”, but think again. With rare exception, all lipsticks contain lead. As a woman in any country in the world, if you want to wear a lead-free lipstick, you have to seek out a product that specifically states that it is lead-free.

But if you seek out a cosmetics product that claims to not contain lead, you still need to avoid it if it contains “fragrance” even if the product is said to be “unscented” because here’s the thing: fragrance products are unregulated and the ingredients in fragrances are undisclosed. Cosmetics and personal care products that are said to be “unscented” contain fragrance ingredients to cover up the smell of chemicals. That’s why you still have to avoid unscented products.

And what about canned foods? Are canned foods safe in the U.S., Europe, Canada, and Australia? No. Canned foods contain so-called “xenoestrogens” that are in the foods as a result of packaging. Lead soldering of canned foods was halted in the 1990s, but canned foods should still be avoided, especially by women with reproductive health problems like endometriosis. This might seem like an extreme thing to do, but I can attest personally to the fact that my health improved exponentially when our family stopped eating canned food.

In developed countries like the U.S. lead is often found in candy. Improper drying, grinding, or storing certain candy ingredients causes lead to be present in candies, but also the ink from candy wrappers often contain lead that seeps into the candy.

Certain spices also contain lead.

But, this is important, a number of medications also contain lead. Wait…if you take a moment to really consider this fact, it might shock you. Lead is bad for human health…so why would there be lead in pharmaceuticals?

The Great Escape from Fast Food Hell: How to Stop Fast Food Addiction and Get Healthy - BUY HERE!

Lead in Pharmaceuticals

Yet in a number of drugs on the market today, there is lead. And some of these drugs are used to treat reproductive system issues in women including infertility, endometriosis, and menstrual cramps. In the U.S., scientists studying a cross-section of common prescription and over-the-counter drugs to find that the average mass of lead delivered daily to consumers when said drugs were taken as directed was 0.22 micrograms per day. Some products contained higher levels of lead while others contained no lead or lower levels of lead. But the fact that conventional medicine pharmaceuticals contain lead is worth considering. If you are a woman who is suffering from endometriosis or another reproductive organ disease and you take prescription or over-the-counter medications, consider the possibility that these medications are worsening the disease because they contain trace amounts of lead.

Lead in Cosmetics and Personal Care Products

Women are disproportionately affected by lead in cosmetics and personal care products because women use more of these products than men and cosmetics / personal care products and their ingredients are not regulated by the FDA. Though the FDA can take action if a cosmetic or personal care product is found to be “adulterated” or toxic to human health after a consumer brings the matter to the FDA’s attention, if consumers do not know that the product is causing their health problems, no action is taken.

The only exception to this rule is color additives. But color additives in cosmetics can contain lead according to FDA guidelines as long as the color additives in cosmetics are limited to 10-20 parts per million. Men don’t typically use cosmetics, but women use a lot of cosmetic products each day. A woman who uses 10 cosmetic products daily (the average is 18) will be exposed 10 times this amount of lead daily or even several times through the day if she chooses cosmetic products that contain lead without realizing it.

Per the FDA, lipstick products contain between 7-10 ppm of lead on average.

Per the FDA, eye shadow, blush, shampoo, body lotion, foundation make-up, and other cosmetics that are applied externally to the skin each contain, on average, 14 ppm of lead.

The FDA has not imposed regulations against lead in beauty products to protect women with endometriosis and other reproductive health issues, but rather, it has provided guidelines to manufacturers. Cosmetic manufactures can follow the guidelines or opt out, but the FDA says that externally applied cosmetics products should contain less than 10 ppm of lead per product. For women who apply these products daily or even several times a day and who apply an average of 18 lead-containing beauty products each day, this is a substantial amount of lead exposure.

In 1980, just prior to the  first scientific report of endometriosis in the liver, lead acetate was permanently listed as safe for use as a color additive in hair coloring. This ruling was officially repealed in 2017 however, but this ingredient continued to be in use in hair coloring products until January 6, 2022. So lead acetate has been in use as a color additive in hair coloring up until just a few months ago at the time of this writing. But buyer beware–the FDA says that it will exercise “enforcement discretion” for 1 year until January, 2023 to give the hair coloring industry time to “deplete their current stock” of lead-containing hair coloring products and reformulate their dyes. As usual, the FDA is protecting industry rather than consumers. Meanwhile, women with endometriosis caused by lead poisoning continue to suffer, often without realizing that their beauty regime is a big part of the problem.

Things haven’t changed much. Back in the late 1800s and early 1900s, when women were being inundated with endocrine-disrupting lead from lead mills to their detriment, men did nothing. In 1910, a woman named Alice Hamilton did a study of lead industries in Illinois to discover widespread worker poisoning.

Leaded Gasoline and Dibromomethane

As a segway into a discussion about bromine, a nearly ubiquitous toxin in today’s world that can also cause endometriosis, we need to mention that dibromomethane was once used to manufacture leaded gasoline. Bromine is an endocrine disruptor that kicks the essential mineral iodine out of its rightful place in the body. So, just as lead exposure through gasoline came into the public eye in the 1980s (though not entirely eliminated until the early 2000s in many parts of the world including the U.S. and Europe), bromine as an endocrine disruptor in leaded gasoline did not feature into the discussion.

Fluorine and Bromine Exposure and Endometriosis

Bromine exposure is a huge problem throughout the world. Bromine (in its molecular form as bromide) is applied as insecticides and people are thus exposed to it in the air. Bromine is often administered as a water purifier and people are thus exposed to it in the water supply. Bromine is found in food products like soda, citrus drinks, and commercial bread products and people are thus exposed to it in food. Bromine is sprayed on children’s pajamas, curtains, furnishings, and on fabrics in vehicles. People are thus exposed to it in their daily living environments.

Bromine is a halogen element. It is in the same chemical family as fluorine, iodine, and chlorine. While iodine and chlorine (in its molecular form as chloride) are essential for human health, fluorine and bromine disrupt human health.

Chloride is the most prolific electrolyte in the human body. Our bodies at any given time need to contain about a pound of chloride in order to function properly.

Iodine, on the other hand, is an essential mineral. Without it, the reproductive organs and the thyroid gland does not function properly. Iodine deficiency causes a long list of serious health problems that are easily reversed through administration of Lugol’s iodine (which combines molecular iodine and potassium iodide) to reverse the deficiency. But if the body has become deficient and then, if it is exposed to a halogen element like bromine or fluorine, health problems are significantly worse and treatment involves a more prolonged course of iodine administration to first detox the body before a person will see a reversal of the iodine deficiency syndromes.

Unfortunately, detoxification from bromine and fluorine causes symptoms like skin rash, mood problems, bladder irritation. Below is a list of symptoms that are common during the bromine / fluorine detoxification period when endometriosis sufferers first begin treatment with Lugol’s iodine:

  • Rash (bromoderma)
  • Blepharospasm / Eye Twitching
  • Drooping eyelids (ptosis)
  • Joint Pain
  • Insomnia
  • Confusion
  • Disorientation
  • Auditory hallucinations
  • Visual hallucinations
  • Brain Fog
  • Loss of control of body movements
  • Foot twitching
  • Tingling in the extremities
  • Neurological impairment
  • Psychosis
  • Seizures
  • Gastrointestinal problems
  • Diarrhea
  • Constipation
  • Indigestion
  • Somnolence
  • Delirium
  • Disturbance of color perception
  • Dark thoughts (e.g. “there is no reason to live”)
  • Depression (e.g. “there is no reason to get out of bed”)
  • Mood issues such as anxiety or mood swings
  • Mouth and tongue sores and cuts, a sore mouth
  • Dry mouth
  • Metallic taste in the mouth
  • Odd swallowing sensation (also known as “swollen glottis” in the old medical literature)
  • Body odor
  • Bromide acne which is coniform (the use of zinc can help counteract bromide acne)
  • Skin “cuts”
  • Hair loss
  • Brain fog
  • Leg and hip ache that resembles arthritis
  • Sinus pain
  • Runny nose
  • Headache
  • Cherry angiomas
  • Sedation/lethargy
  • Unusual urine odor or color
  • Urethral spasm and frequent urination (may be mistaken for a urinary tract infection)
  • Diarrhea or constipation
  • Vision changes
  • Irritability
  • Increased salivation
  • Dream changes
  • Impaired memory/concentration
  • Tremor
  • Hormone changes
  • Kidney pain
  • Breast tenderness / fibrocystic breast disease (this transient symptom typically resolves quickly with iodine treatment)
  • Menstruation Issues
  • Cystitis / bladder irritation
  • Asthma / breathing problems

Bromine-Containing Drugs to Avoid If You Have Endometriosis

Bromine and bromide is found in some surprising places. Despite the fact that “bromism”, a condition caused by bromine exposure, was once the known cause of 10% of all psychiatric hospital admissions in the country, today, bromine and bromide is added to common prescription and over-the-counter drug products like cough medications or pyridostigmine bromide, a drug that’s prescribed often for diseases like myasthenia gravis. Why would Big Pharma put bromide / bromine in drug products if historically, 10% of all patients in psychiatric wards were there because of bromine exposure?

I don’t know the exact answer to that question, but I feel confident that if I did know, it would make me very angry.

How to Cure Endometriosis Naturally

If you want to cure endometriosis permanently, one of the first things you need to do is take a close look at your beauty routine. Lead is not a listed ingredient in cosmetics. Consider a natural appearance if you’re trying to cure endometriosis permanently. Remember, even cosmetics lines that claim to be “organic” are only required to follow guidelines by the FDA and unless someone launches a complaint against them, lead levels in a cosmetic product is still likely at the average 10 ppm.

A natural look sans cosmetics that contain lead may be something that you need to commit to for a year or longer along with a bromine, fluorine, and lead detoxification regime to reduce toxic load quickly and simultaneously work to remove lead, bromine, and fluorine from the body.

Detoxify and Remove Lead, Bromine, and Fluorine Exposure from Your Life

Follow these guidelines to detoxify your home environment quickly and easily. Replace products that contain “fragrances” with non-toxic, alternative products.

Chelate Heavy Metals Like Lead

Spirulina for Endometriosis

Spirulina / Athrospira is a cyanobacterium or blue-green algae that is able to remove heavy metals safely from the body. Spirulina removes arsenic, cadmium, lead, and mercury and it also protects the body from arsenic toxicity.

Patients who weigh 150 pounds or less should take at least 10 grams of spirulina daily to remove lead and other heavy metals from the body.

A patient who weighs 200 pounds should take a daily dose of 15 grams of spirulina daily.

A patient who weighs 250 pounds or more should take 20 grams of spirulina daily.

Nutricost Organic Spirulina Powder 2 LB - Pure, Certified Organic Spirulina

Chlorine Dioxide Solution Chelation Therapy for Endometriosis

Another option that endometriosis patients have in terms of chelation therapy is Chlorine Dioxide Solution. This is a treatment that works both as a chelating agent to remove heavy metals like lead safely from the body, but that also works to cure infection and cancer. So Chlorine Dioxide Solution is a valuable medicine for women with endometriosis because, as we talk about later in this article, this disease has correlations to genital tuberculosis and cancer. Chlorine Dioxide Solution is a powerful cure for cancer as well as tuberculosis, but women with endometriosis who use this medicine don’t even have to know if they’ve been exposed to genital tuberculosis or not. Chlorine Dioxide Solution is able to cure cancer as well as genital tuberculosis while combining with heavy metals to escort them safely out of the body.

Learn more about the chemistry of Chlorine Dioxide Solution and how it can be used to cure endometriosis here.

IV Chelation Therapy: Get Rid of Lead Fast

If you want to cure stage IV endometriosis quickly to restore your health, consider traveling to a chelation therapy clinic to receive IV chelation therapy for the removal of lead and other heavy metals from the body. IV therapy is typically relaxing and it also promotes general circulatory health. You can do IV chelation therapy while also using oral treatment with spirulina and Chlorine Dioxide Solution to hasten your progress.

After Chelation, is there a cure for endometriosis?

So we’ve established that lead exposure and bromine exposure can cause endometriosis. And we also know that lead can be chelated from the body. Bromine can also be removed from the body with Lugol’s iodine supplementation and we talk about that later in this article. So there’s a natural treatment protocol for endometriosis that we’re outlining in this article that women can even use as a cure for stage 4 endometriosis or endometrial cancer. But before we go into that material, let’s talk for a moment about extrapelvic endometriosis.

Extrapelvic Endometriosis

Extrapelvic endometriosis involves the growth of uterine endometrial tissues outside of the pelvic reproductive organ tissues. Below we talk about extrapelvic endometriosis in greater depth. There are a number of different sites that are common for endometriosis including:

  • Liver endometriosis / Biliary endometriosis
  • Gallbladder endometriosis
  • Lung endometriosis
  • Kidney endometriosis
  • Pancreas endometriosis
  • Nasal endometriosis (which can cause endometriosis nosebleeds)
  • Abdominal wall endometriosis
  • Groin endometriosis
  • Perineum endometriosis

Not long ago, extrapelvic endometriosis was considered rare, but scientists have recently discovered that such is not the case.

Can you get rid of endometriosis without surgery?

Yes. In fact, surgery is not what I’d recommend for anyone with endometriosis. A lot of people ask us, can you get rid of endometriosis with diet? Yes, you can. In fact, the diet that I recommend for endometriosis sufferers is The Budwig Protocol which also cures cancer and a number of other diseases.

Read more about how to do the Budwig Diet here. Don’t neglect to get sunlight exposure (without sunscreen) as a part of this endometriosis diet. And be sure to seek out grass-fed, organic dairy products or use nut milks and vitamin K2 supplements at 200 mcg per day. This diet melds very well with enzyme therapy, another part of the endometriosis cure that we talk about in this article.

Be sure to read all of the sections below that talk about endometriosis in all of the different organs of the body. If you don’t have kidney endometriosis or lung endometriosis, you may still want to consider taking the recommended supplements that we discuss in those sections to prevent extrapelvic endometriosis from developing.

Endo Belly / Endometriosis Belly

Endometriosis Belly, also known as “Endo Belly” is technically defined as just abdominal bloating that’s linked to endometriosis. The way this condition is described online is like it’s “no big deal” and we’ve heard stories indicating that women are often brushed off by doctors when they describe abdominal discomfort. Doctors say that it’s just “endo belly”. Women with endometriosis may experience abdominal discomfort, pain, and inflammation, but this discomfort shouldn’t be dismissed by doctors or downplayed as unimportant. Toxins like lead and bromine that cause endo belly symptoms also cause these digestive system issues and it can be valuable to realize that endometriosis can affect the organs. Reversing endo belly means reversing these gastrointestinal issues too.

Below we talk more about organs that can be affected by endometriosis and some extra treatment recommendations to consider in regard to each of these organs.

Liver Endometriosis / Hepatic Endometriosis: What Women Need to Know

The first ever published case of hepatic endometriosis (endometriosis on the liver tissues) was in 1986, shortly after iodine was removed as a fortification ingredient in bread products and replaced with bromine (an endocrine disruptor). Remember though, at this time, lead was still an ingredient in gasoline so women were being inundated not just with bromine but also with lead. Today, liver endometriosis is recognized as a relatively common problem which explains the strong relationship between gastrointestinal problems and endometriosis.

How to Treat Liver Issues and Endometriosis Naturally without Surgery

One of the most powerful treatments for liver issues and endometriosis is Enzyme Therapy. We talk in depth about the use of digestive enzymes to cure liver and gallbladder issues as well as to quell abdominal problems in another article that you can read here. Enzyme Therapy supports the liver, the pancreas, and all of the digestive organs. It ensures that food is digestive down to component parts so that nutrients in food are absorbed and used by the body. This may not sound like a big deal, but if you have endometriosis and you do Enzyme Therapy for a year along with the other treatments we’re recommending in this article, you’ll be amazed by the results.

We go into more detail about the digestive enzyme therapy protocol for endometriosis below:

Digestive Enzyme Therapy for Endometriosis

Most women don’t realize how powerful digestive enzymes are in terms of reproductive health and endometriosis. However, though women in the early stages of endometriosis may not get it, women who are looking for “endo belly” remedies are more likely to instantly understand the connection between endometrial overgrowth and digestive enzymes. At any rate, the use of digestive enzymes for tissue overgrowth and even cancer is not nearly as well-known as it should be so we’ll talk about it here to give women a sense of how these humble, natural treatments for endometriosis can be used to cure the disease.

Powerful Endo Belly Remedies: Pancreatic Enzyme Basics

My first encounter with digestive enzymes for tissue overgrowth was in the context of cancer. I was very lucky to be writing a book about cancer cures after having traveled the planet in search of natural remedies with high cure rates. But I still had doubts at that point when my husband developed melanoma. Nonetheless, pancreatic enzyme therapy was a gentle, natural cure for cancer that was created by Dr. John Beard, an embryologist who understood the relationship between reproduction and cancer.

Dr. Beard noted that pancreatic enzymes were able to halt abnormal cellular overgrowth of cancer cells. Patients with a deficiency of pancreatic enzymes could be cured of cancer using pancreatic enzyme supplements. Read more about the use of pancreatic enzymes to cure cancer here.

Later in my career as a medical writer, I encountered pancreatic enzymes as a cure for another disease: cystic fibrosis. Like cancer, cystic fibrosis involves the overgrowth of tissues in the lungs. This time, the scientific literature focused on trypsin and chymotrypsin as the most important pancreatic enzymes. Read more about trypsin and chymotrypsin as a cure for cystic fibrosis here.

Pancreatic enzymes naturally eat away at cells that are growing out of control. They don’t eat away at normal, healthy cells though. These enzymes are meant to circulate in the blood and travel throughout the body to seek out and destroy endometrial cells, uterine fibroid cells, and the abnormal cells that cause uterine adhesions. Of course, pancreatic enzymes also perform a similar function in the gut and as such they can be used as a natural remedy for endo belly, or endometrial tissue growth in the gut.

Beyond Pancreatic Enzymes

The pancreas is not the only organ that produces digestive enzymes. The liver and the stomach also produce enzymes that can play an important role in removing endometrial tissues from the gut. Bile salts supplements (or ox bile supplements), for example, act like a detergent in the intestines.

Bile Supplement: Natural Endometriosis Cure

Bile is secreted from the liver and from the gallbladder and it creates soapy suds and it removes biofilm and gunk that doesn’t belong in there. Bile also helps the body absorb fat soluble vitamins like vitamin K2 that make it easier for the body to, in turn, absorb iodine. And iodine, especially Lugol’s iodine is the most important cure for endo belly and for endometriosis and uterine polyps in any location in the body. We’ll talk more about the use of Lugol’s iodine to cure endometriosis below.

Serrapeptase: Natural Endo Belly Cure

Serrapeptase is an enzyme produced by silkworms that has been used to get rid of endo belly and endometrial tissues throughout the body. Serrapeptase is an excellent adjunct to Lugol’s iodine as a natural treatment for endometriosis. I usually recommend that people take a product that contains Nattokinase + Serrapeptase because the Nattokinase is high in vitamin K2, a nutrient that promotes absorption of iodine in the body.

How to Do Enzyme Therapy as a Natural Cure for Endometriosis

We go into great depth in this article about how to use enzyme therapy to cure endometriosis as well as autoimmune disease, cancer, and illnesses that involve any kind of fibrosis. Below are the basic tools you need to get started with enzyme therapy as a cure for endometriosis and endo belly:

How to Get Rid of Gallbladder Endometriosis Naturally without Surgery

The gallbladder is such an important organ in women’s health. Indeed, it’s so important that Lydi and I wrote a whole book about it. Lots of women are told to get surgery to remove the gallbladder, but most gallbladder ailments, including the problem of gallstones, can be dealt with using herbs and powerful gallbladder healing treatments that restore health to this organ.

Download the Gallbladder and Beyond book here to learn about how to heal the gallbladder without surgery.

How to Cure Lung Endometriosis Naturally without Surgery

Lung endometriosis may seem odd if you’re not familiar with the fact that iodine supplementation is a cure for both endometriosis as well as asthma. Perhaps you’ve been diagnosed with both of these diseases. Asthma is a disease that affects the lungs and the bronchial tubes, but it’s actually caused by changing hormone levels. Read more about the connection between reproductive hormone levels and asthma here.

There are several cures for major lung diseases like cystic fibrosis that also function as cures for endometriosis. Selenium is a nutrient that’s often deficient in people with gallbladder problems, lung problems, and reproductive organ problems which makes sense because, without selenium, the body can’t absorb iodine. At the end of this article, we include a list of supportive nutrients that you’ll need to take in order for your iodine to work properly as a cure for endometriosis. Take all of them, as prescribed, to get the most out of iodine therapy as a natural treatment for endometriosis.

L-Cysteine or N-Acetyl-Cysteine (NAC) are two of the strongest detoxifying substances in the body that are powerful as a cure for lung diseases like cystic fibrosis as well as reproductive organ diseases like endometriosis. Some readers may find the relationship between the lungs and the uterus hard to believe or understand, but it’s actually very simple. Both the lungs and the reproductive organs detoxify themselves by releasing mucus that then flows out of the body carrying toxins. The mucus carries toxins out of the body which is why people get a runny nose if they develop a cold or the flu. The mucus is a big part of healing in that mucus carries pathogens out of the body. NAC / L-Cysteine Dosage: Natural Lung Endometriosis Cure

In women with lung endometriosis, NAC or L-Cysteine (we recommend L-Cysteine as the natural detoxifying substance though some women have also used NAC with success) is essential. High doses of NAC or L-Cysteine are recommended as a natural lung endometriosis treatment.

  • NAC: Take 600 mg up to 4 times daily and drink plenty of water to encourage the body to detoxify naturally in order to restore pristine health.

OR

  • L-Cysteine: (recommended) Take 500 mg up to times daily with plenty of water to encourage detoxification of the body.

Endometriosis Treatments in Conventional Medicine

Below are the most common hormones that are prescribed by doctors as a treatment for endometriosis:

  • GnRH (Gonadotropin-Releasing Hormone) / Elagolix / Orilissa
    • High levels of estrogens work against endometriosis.
  • Birth Control Pills / Oral Contraceptives
  • Progesterone / Progestin Pill
  • IUD-containing Progestin / Mirena
  • Progesterone / Progestin Injections
  • Danazol / Danocrine
  • Gestrinone

Below are the most commonly prescribed surgical procedures for endometriosis:

  • Laparoscopy
  • Laparotomy
  • Surgery to sever pelvic nerves

To be clear, we don’t recommend that women undergo any of the treatments above that are recommended by doctors. Most of them only work temporarily and none of them guarantee relief from pain. Indeed, not one of the conventional medicine treatments for endometriosis will cure the disease. Rather, all of them will tend to make the disease and reproductive system issues worse over the course of time by worsening nutrient deficiencies, debilitating the immune system, and by interfering with and impeding the body’s natural attempt to heal.

Synthetic Hormones and Birth Control Pills as Conventional Medicine Treatment for Endometriosis

Synthetic hormones and birth control pills are some of Big Pharma’s most prescribed products, so it isn’t surprising that doctors would automatically prescribe synthetic hormones / birth control pills to women with endometriosis. Unfortunately, however, birth control pills and synthetic hormones have one of the longest lists of dangerous side effects of all drugs that are available for prescription by doctors. Nonetheless, many doctors believe that birth control pills are the only treatment option for women with endometriosis. Read more about the dangers of birth control pills as a treatment for endometriosis here.

If you’re a young woman who’s lucky enough to not have a lot of experience with the conventional healthcare system, it may seem odd to you that doctors don’t know about a cure for endometriosis, but we do. The idea that a disease as common as endometriosis would be curable outside of conventional medicine may seem contrary to what you’ve been taught to believe. If you’re reading this document and you simply can’t believe the whole idea that a cure for something like endometriosis exists, I hear you. I was pre-med in my university days and it took a lot of years for me to accept the idea that there are cures for cancer and that these cures for cancer are actually well-studied and well-documented, just hidden. I was lucky though–I uncovered the cures for cancer just before my husband was diagnosed with melanoma. We used natural cures to overcome the disease quickly because I had studied these cures as someone who was academically interested in them. After applying the cures though, I realized how powerful they were. I had the opportunity to go from a skeptic to a believer within weeks and I never turned back.

Later, when my step-daughter called me for help with her own PCOS and endometriosis diagnosis, I was prepared. Her doctor had told her that she would be infertile for the rest of her life as a result of this dual diagnosis. He’d recommended surgery for endometriosis and his prognosis for her was grim. She and I had been estranged for many years, but recently, we’d made amends and she cried over the video call as she spoke to me. She and her husband wanted another baby and though she really wanted to believe me as I extolled the virtues of natural treatments like Lugol’s iodine and high pH Therapy as cures for endometriosis, she wasn’t sure.

I sent her a care-pack that contained an assortment of treatments that I’ll outline below as natural remedies for endometriosis and within 3 months, her PCOS was gone, her endometriosis had receded, and she’d conceived a healthy baby that she recently gave birth to without issue.

So let’s begin by talking about Lugol’s iodine as the most powerful natural remedy for endometriosis as well as a number of other women’s health issues:

Lugol’s Iodine 2% Cure for Endometriosis

Lugol’s iodine 2% contains both molecular iodine and potassium iodide. Iodine deficiency is nearly ubiquitous in the world today, but especially in the U.S. where iodine fortification of the food supply was halted in the 1980s. Prior to that time, there was iodine added to things like bread products to ensure that the population did not become deficient in this vital nutrient that governs thyroid function, reproductive organ function, and immune system function. But the 1980s marked the rise of Big Food and Big Pharma as well as Big Ag. Iodine was removed from bread products and placed in table salt instead. Unfortunately, salt is a terrible carrier for iodine and iodine evaporates out of a saltbox within days. So, the removal of iodine from the food supply also marked the beginning of the obesity epidemic, the creation of the Autoimmunity Industry, and the beginning of the breast cancer epidemic as well as the rise of extrapelvic endometriosis as a common problem in the developed world.

Women’s health problems like PCOS and endometriosis that had once been practically non-existent were suddenly considered common. The demand for birth control pills skyrocketed though most women actually loathe what synthetic hormones do to their bodies. Birth control pills, you see, are some of the most commonly prescribed “medications” because doctors prescribe them even to healthy women who simply wish to prevent pregnancy. Theoretically, birth control pills can be prescribed to every woman because these are pills for healthy women—women who aren’t necessarily ill. As such, they can be recommended to every female patient. Indeed, if you go to the doctor as a woman with any kind of women’s health issue, the most likely thing that you’ll receive is a prescription for synthetic hormones / birth control pills.

Again though, synthetic hormones for women / birth control pills tend to cause women’s health to spiral downward quickly. Many women gain weight and develop new health issues while taking the pill.

The main takeaway here is that the removal of iodine from the food supply created a much bigger marker for Big Pharma’s synthetic hormone drugs. If you’ve been given birth control pills for endometriosis and you’d like to find a natural treatment alternative, Lugol’s iodine 2% is the cure for this disease. We provide a protocol below that includes iodine, supportive nutrients, and the heavy metal chelating herbs and medicines that discussed earlier in this article.

The caveat in regard to Lugol’s iodine is that before you can really experience the benefits of taking this nutrient supplement, you have to take Lugol’s to remove Bromine and Fluorine from the body first. This confuses a lot of people. Remember, bromine and fluorine are two other halogen elements in the same column as iodine on the periodic table. When the human body becomes deficient in iodine, it becomes so desperate that it will accept anything that behaves similarly to iodine in the body. If a person who’s deficient in iodine is exposed to bromine / bromide or fluorine / fluorine, their body will absorb those toxins and try to use them as iodine. This causes severe health problems in people. And it also complicates the use of a natural treatment for endometriosis like Lugol’s iodine. When women start to go through a Bromine or Fluorine Detox, they often believe the Lugol’s iodine is making them sick. This isn’t the case though. Rather, when iodine-deficient women who have been exposed to Bromine or Fluorine begin taking Lugol’s iodine, their body must first remove Bromine and Fluorine from iodine receptors–the Bromine and Fluorine then goes into the blood supply where it causes symptoms of detox. Within a few weeks of Lugol’s iodine treatment, though, the Bromine and the Fluorine are completely gone and women often experience an extreme boost in their general health and sense of well-being. As long as the women continue to take Lugol’s iodine daily, they’ll be mostly protected from bromine and fluorine exposure once the iodine deficiency is finally corrected.

Nonetheless, you can imagine, as a woman, that if you begin taking a nutrient like Lugol’s iodine and you develop a rash, that this would make you believe that the iodine caused the rash. In reality, the rash that most women get when they begin taking iodine is caused by bromine being removed from iodine-receptors and entering the blood supply.

Note that many doctors have been taught in AMA-sponsored medical schools that iodine is a poison. This is not true. Iodine is an essential nutrient for human health.

How to Treat Endometriosis Pain Naturally

The pain caused by endometriosis is something we need to address here. But we don’t just want our readers to cover up their pain. Rather, it’s ideal if women with endometriosis treat pain naturally with medicines that also cure the disease.

One study that we found demonstrated that the use NAC / L-Cysteine, Alpha-Lipoic Acid, and Bromelain, an enzyme derived from the pineapple fruit, were able to naturally diminish endometriosis pain naturally. We know from our previous discussion that NAC / L-Cysteine works as a cure for endometriosis by thinning mucus throughout the body.- NAC and L-Cysteine naturally promote fertility in all women through this mechanism of action, but NAC / L-Cysteine also can be used to alleviate mental illness through its detoxifying action on brain and nervous system tissues. Specifically, NAC / L-Cysteine helps people with nagging, anxiety-producing thoughts or problems like Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder (OCD) to get these problems under control. As such, NAC / L-Cysteine can be used to alleviate pain caused by endometriosis in combination with Alpha Lipoic Acid and enzymes.

We’ve already talked about digestive enzymes as a cure for endometriosis. Some women may not have access to digestive enzymes though, so it’s important to mention that papaya / papain and bromelain from the pineapple are suitable alternatives to digestive enzymes.

Alpha lipoic acid is a supplement that’s been used to treat pain naturally in a variety of health contexts. The recommended dosage is 600 mg orally per day.

Herbal Remedy for Endometriosis: Kudzu and Mucuna pruriens

Pueriaria flowers or Kudzu have been used as an herbal remedy for endometriosis. According to scientific studies, Pueraria flower extract functions to naturally prevent endometriosis cells from growing. Other studies support this idea, noting the higher levels of estrogen make endometrial overgrowth impossible.

Kudzu is a plant medicine that can be used in some surprising ways. We’ve worked with kudzu in the context of addictions where it miraculously reduces how much alcohol and alcoholic drinks by 20% even if the alcoholic does not intend to lower their consumption levels. This herbal treatment for endometriosis is related to the fertility and libido-enhancing bean known as Mucuna pruriens

Mucuna Pruriens Capsules, Triple Strength 1500mg Per Serving, 2 in 1 Formula, Made with Mucuna and Ashwagandha, 240 Capsules, Potent Seed Extract, Positive Mood, Relaxation & Restoration Support

Women should consider taking both Kudzu as well as Mucuna pruriens as herbal remedies for endometriosis. Mucuna is an Ayurvedic medicine that has powerful mood stabilizing effects. Most of the women we’ve worked with who have taken Mucuna pruriens report that they notice their mood lifting within 4 hours of taking the herb. They also note that issues like sugar addiction are no longer a problem after they begin taking these two herbs. Indeed, women with endometriosis should make an effort to avoid all refined sugars and the use of these two herbs can help make that possible without any kind of withdrawal or cravings for sugar-laden foods.

Below are the suggested dosages for these two herbs for endometriosis:

    • Kudzu - 2400 mg daily taken as two doses of 1200 mg twice daily
    • Mucuna pruriens - 6000 mg daily, taken as 4 1500 mg doses

Nature's Way Herbal Kudzu Root, 1,226 mg per serving, 50 Capsules

NOTE: Mucuna pruriens enhances women’s fertility levels, but it has to be used in a particular way and synergized with a woman’s reproductive cycle to achieve this effect. Read more about how to use Mucuna pruriens as an herbal remedy for women’s infertility here.

How to Do Lugol’s Iodine Therapy as a Cure for Endometriosis

Lugol’s iodine must be taken with supportive nutrients or else your body may have trouble assimilating it and using it properly. Commit to the Lugol’s iodine protocol for at least 3 months to really experience the full effect of this women’s health cure. Considering beginning treatment by taking only the supportive nutrients for 2 weeks prior to beginning administration of iodine. If you have hypothyroidism or hyperthyroidism, start with the supporting nutrients for 2 months prior to beginning to take Lugol’s iodine.
  • Lugol’s Iodine 2% - Take the iodine supporting nutrients listed below for at least 2 weeks to 2 months prior to beginning therapy with Lugol’s iodine drops. When you begin taking Lugol’s iodine for endometriosis, start with 1 drop administered in drinking water or applied to the abdomen over the uterus. Increase the daily dose by 1 drop every 2-3 days if your Bromine and Fluorine Detoxification symptoms are not too uncomfortable. Increase the daily dose up to 20 drops daily (50 mg). Note that some people need up to 100 mg per day (40 drops).

Recommended Detoxification Supplements to Cure Endometriosis

  • Spirulina - Take 10,000-20,000 mg per day in divided doses (in other words, take 3,000 to 4,000 mg 3 to 5 times daily)
  • Chlorine Dioxide Solution - Administer 1-3 drops hourly for 8 hours daily for 3 weeks. Begin with the lower dose and work up to a higher dose as long as you are not experiencing powerful detoxification symptoms. Note that Chlorine Dioxide Solution can easily be inactivated by L-Cysteine and also by Alpha Lipoic Acid. As such, it must be taken by itself and without food.
  • L-Cysteine - Take between 2000 and 3000 mg per day in divided doses (take 1000 mg 3 times daily to keep mucus thin and flowing throughout the body).

Herbal Cure for Endometriosis

I highly recommend that any woman who is suffering from endometriosis take the following two herbs. If you feel depressed or uncertain about treatment, these herbs will help you think more clearly, feel more confident about your decision to cure endometriosis naturally, and move forward with treatment, including dietary changes. These herbs won’t make you feel wired or tired—they’ll make you feel “like yourself” and that’s all. These herbs constantly amaze me. I take them myself every single day.

    • Kudzu - 2400 mg daily taken as two doses of 1200 mg twice daily
    • Mucuna pruriens - 6000 mg daily, taken as 4 1500 mg doses

The pH Cure for Endometriosis and Endometrial Cancer

There are three important protocols that a woman with endometriosis can choose from to cure this disease quickly. All of these protocols involve the use of high pH / alkalinity to reverse endometrial overgrowth. High pH reliably relieves pain in cancer patients and there's reason to believe that it also works as a powerful, natural pain reliever for endometriosis. Below are links to the High pH protocols. Be sure to read the top link which talks about Dr. Keith Brewer, the microbiologist who discovered that high pH reliably cured cancer quickly and removed the pain of cancer within 48 hours. Because endometriosis is a pre-cancer, all women with this disease should consider working with their pH levels to reverse the disease. Just be aware that high pH therapy should never be done halfway. Raising the pH to between 7.0 and 8.5 needs to happen as quickly as possible because if you accidentally raise your pH to only between 5.5-6.5, you can actually foster the growth of endometrial cancer cells. So, if you do this treatment (there are three options for treatment listed below), follow the guidelines and don't deviate from them. Stick to the treatment in 3 week-1 week cycles (3 weeks on, 1 week off) for best results until your endometriosis is cured. High pH Treatments: Again, please note that the use of these treatments for endometriosis would be extremely beneficial for women who are willing to work with them. Women with endometrial cancer can make fast progress in curing their disease using these treatments along with the protocol that we've described above.

Natural Endometrial Cancer Cure

All of the treatments we've described above will help you cure endometrial cancer, but if you've been diagnosed with this disease, then you need to work with some other treatments in an intentional way to cure the disease. Please download our Cancer Cure Catalog series here. This 3-volume set provides details on cures for endometrial cancer, how to administer natural cures for cancer, where to find alternative cancer treatment facilities that administer powerful, no-chemo, no-radiation cancer treatments that have high cure rates, and the models of medicine that doctors who cure cancer are using to overcome this disease. The first volume of our Cancer Cure Catalog is free and you can download it here. If you're not sure if you believe in cures for cancer, start here by reading about vitamin B17 / amygdalin, the cure for cancer that was discovered by the same doctor who developed chemotherapy at Sloan Kettering Memorial Hospital. Note that this particular cure for cancer has an 80-90% cure rate and it is one of the most important known nutrients for cancer prevention. Also note that vitamin K2 is a part of our protocol to cure endometriosis and it has also been scientifically proven as a cure for endometrial cancer and other reproductive organ cancers. Vitamin K2 is found in high levels in Nattokinase. It helps promote the absorption of iodine which is why we recommend this supplement as part of the endometriosis cure. Read more here about Vitamin K2 as a cure for endometrial cancer, ovarian cancer, and all reproductive organ cancers as well as leukemia, lymphoma, and myeloma. UPDATE 2023: Recently, we uncovered information about a link between mold exposure and endometriosis. Black mold and other mycotoxin-producing molds can set off a cascade of endocrine disruptions via the hypothalamus. Essentially, exposure to mycotoxins causes a huge release of inflammatory cytokines that cause the hypothalamus to become dysregulated. The hypothalamus dysregulation then leads to general endocrine system dysregulation. Endometriosis can be caused by mold exposure through this mechanism of action. If you or a loved one has been diagnosed with endometriosis, consider the possible role of mycotoxin exposure at home or in the work place. Read more about how to treat mold exposure naturally at this link.
