Breast Calcifications, Breast Cancer, and How to Cure Both with the Same Essential Nutrients

Breast calcifications are a relatively common diagnosis, and can lead to abnormal mammogram results and even a misdiagnosis of cancer. As a woman, being told that you have calcifications in your breasts, or receiving abnormal mammogram results because of them, can be scary, not to mention apparently hopeless; after all, the conventional medical community doesn’t talk much about the existence of calcifications in any organ, let alone treatments for these calcifications. And, the layer that breast calcifications are thought to (sometimes) be correlated with breast cancer just adds to the fear. But yet, there are cures for both breast calcifications and breast cancer. And in fact, the cures for both of these health problems are more or less the same, which we’ll talk more about below.

For most women, breast calcifications don’t cause any symptoms since they’re so small, however some women may develop larger calcifications, which can lead to symptoms or signs such as:

  • Breast lumps/bumps
  • Itchy skin on or around the breasts
  • Skin that’s inflamed or red on or around the breasts
  • Puckering, dimpling, or scaling of the skin on or around the breasts
  • Nipple discharge
  • Inversion of the nipples or other unusually changes to the size and shape of the nipple

While breast calcifications are most common in women over the age of 50, this doesn’t mean that women under age 50 in their reproductive years can’t also get breast calcifications. One source noted that approximately 10% of women under age 50 are likely to experience macrocalcifications, which are larger calcifications in the breasts, and are therefore more likely to be palpable or otherwise noticeable. Microcalcifications may be even more common in younger women than is currently discussed, especially since small calcifications in the breast frequently can’t be felt and don’t cause many symptoms.

Calcification in breast tissue can be a sign or cause of hormonal imbalance, and therefore can be indicative of the state of a woman’s reproductive health. In particular, breast calcifications may sometimes be a symptom of hyperparathyroidism, a condition in which levels of parathyroid hormone are chronically high. In hyperparathyroidism, blood levels of calcium are often higher than normal, since parathyroid hormone is known to increase blood calcium levels. Normally, the release of parathyroid hormone is directed based on relevant data that comes in from various parts of the body, but in hyperparathyroidism, the parathyroid has, in a sense, been “hijacked” and can’t do its job correctly. So blood calcium levels increase to unusually high levels. When blood calcium levels increase, this can sometimes lead to soft tissue calcifications, especially when vitamin K2 is deficient.

Hypercalcemia (high blood calcium levels) not only leads to calcifications, but can also seriously interfere with iodine absorption and utilization.

Kidney problems also appear to be another common, underlying cause of breast calcification. This also makes sense, since the kidneys are the primary organs responsible for the excretion of excess calcium that’s in the body. If the kidneys aren’t functioning correctly and are unable to process and remove excess calcium from the blood, calcium will have more of an opportunity to build up (again, this is particularly true in cases of vitamin K2 deficiency, since in this case, the calcium also will not be put into the bones).

So then, why do breast calcifications matter when it comes to fertility or female reproductive/sexual health (at any age)?

The breasts are considered to be secondary sexual characteristics; they are undoubtedly a part of the female reproductive system, albeit not technically essential for procreation. However, the breasts are intimately connected to the other primary sexual organs, such as the ovaries and the uterus. In fact, the reproductive organs have a direct link to the breasts via the lymphatic system. The lymphatic system runs throughout the body, and is an important part of the immune system. It also helps the body process waste and balance fluid levels. These roles make it so that waste or pathogens from one part of the body can end up in an entirely different (or at least, seemingly different) part of the body, since waste products and pathogens can travel through the lymphatic system to these other areas. Thus, via the lymphatic system, calcium deposits may be able to make their way from the breasts down to the reproductive organs, or vice versa.

To illustrate this connection, in women with breast cancer, the ovaries are the 4th most likely metastatic site (accounting for approximately 3-30% of ovarian cancer metastases), besides the liver, lungs, and brain. Thus, we can assume that breast calcifications may be indicative of current or later calcifications in the other primary sexual organs. If these calcifications in the other primary sexual organs don’t already exist, then breast calcifications could be considered an opportunity to begin working with natural treatments now to prevent problems later

How to Get Rid of Calcification in Breast Tissue: Effective Nutritional Treatments for Soft Tissue Calcifications

There are a variety of different effective treatments for breast calcification at any age. Most of these treatments are nutrient-oriented, since breast calcifications are, after all, a direct result of specific nutritional deficiencies. Below we’ve also included some information about anti-cancer treatment options, as some breast calcifications are correlated with the development of cancer (which is also curable with some simple and effective natural medicines).

Vitamin K2: The Core Treatment for Breast Calcifications

Vitamin K2 is an absolutely essential nutrient for women with breast calcifications. Calcifications in literally any area of the body can be thought of as a symptom of a vitamin K2 deficiency, and, like with any deficiency disease, administration of the appropriate nutrient(s) can reverse the disease and its symptoms. Depending on the woman’s individual health situation, breast calcifications can take up to 6 months to a year to officially go away, but individuals who take vitamin K2 for calcifications tend to see very noticeable, positive changes after just a few months of treatment.

This nutrient is available in supplement form by itself or in combination with vitamin D3. Either option is fine, but if you have the choice, choose a solo vitamin K2 supplement that contains the natural MK-7 form of the vitamin. Do not supplement with pure vitamin D, and check any other multivitamins or supplements you’re taking to see if they have vitamin D in them. If they do, don’t take them. Excessively high levels of vitamin D taken in via supplementation can cause an increase in calcium levels, especially in cases of vitamin K2 deficiency. You can read more about the relationships between vitamin K2, vitamin D, and calcium here.

Lugol’s Iodine Solution and Supportive Nutrients

Are you female and having problems with your reproductive organs or endocrine glands? Then it’s very likely that you have a deficiency in iodine. After all, iodine deficiency is widespread in the developed world, and with the presence of the related competing halogen element, bromine, being prevalent, the symptoms of iodine deficiency / bromine toxicity are all too common. Supplementation with an iodine supplement that contains molecular iodine and potassium iodide (these two types of iodine each feed iodine to the reproductive organs and the thyroid) can relieve the symptoms of bromine toxicity and heal iodine deficiency relatively quickly.

Iodine deficiency / bromine toxicity can lead to a variety of women’s health problems, including not only infertility, but also irregular menstruation, conditions like PCOS and endometriosis, and reproductive organ cancers, including breast cancer. Many women with female-specific health problems benefit almost immediately from iodine supplementation, with a high number of them experiencing even complete relief from their condition within a few months of taking iodine in combination with its supportive nutrients.

Read more about the use of iodine supplementation as a cure for breast cancer and other reproductive organ cancers.

When it comes to calcifications, iodine supplementation is another key treatment. When calcium levels are high in the blood due to a vitamin K2 deficiency, this impedes the body’s ability to absorb and use iodine, since calcium actively binds to and removes iodine. So then, even if a person consumes a tiny amount of iodine from their diet, if they’re already deficient in vitamin K2 and thus have higher levels of calcium in their blood, this tiny amount of iodine is unlikely to make a dent in the person’s overall iodine levels.

Because of this, iodine must be taken with vitamin K2 in order to ensure that it actually gets absorbed into the body. In addition to vitamin K2, iodine should also be taken with the following supportive nutrients, all of which play a role in supporting the absorption and utilization of iodine in the thyroid gland and reproductive organs:

  • Selenium - 200-400mcg/day
  • Vitamin B2 / Riboflavin - 400mg/day
  • Vitamin B3 / Niacin - 500mg/day
  • Methyl Folate (a natural and more bioavailable form of folate) - 15mg/day
  • Zinc + Copper - 15mg zinc + 2mg copper/day
    • It’s important to take a zinc+copper supplement since long-term zinc supplementation is associated with copper deficiency; this way, you can take and benefit from zinc without having to worry about depleted copper levels.
  • L-Tyrosine - 500mg, 4 times per day (total daily dose of 2000mg)
  • L-Tryptophan - 1500mg, taken before bedtime to support healthy sleep
  • Vitamin K2, MK7 - 200mcg/day
  • Melatonin - 10mg, taken immediately before sleeping
  • Vitamin B12 / Methylcobalamin + DMSO - In a glass bowl or drinking cup, combine ⅛ to ¼ teaspoon of vitamin B12 / methylcobalamin powder with 5 drops of DMSO and 10 drops of purified water. Mix well and then apply to the skin. If you prefer, you can add the B12 powder and DMSO to an 8 ounce of water to drink. Take this dose daily.
  • Shilajit / Fulvic Acid / Humic Acid - Follow the dosing instructions on the product that you choose. The dose of shilajit is usually ⅛ to a ⅛ of a teaspoon mixed in a glass of water.
  • Sea Water Supplement - Take 1 teaspoon in every 8 ounce glass of water that you drink during the day to increase hydration and supply a range of essential trace minerals.

After taking these supplements for 2 weeks, then you may begin with the iodine supplementation. Start with 1 drop of Lugol’s iodine 2% in a glass of water or rubbed directly onto the breasts. Increase the dose by 1 drop daily until you reach a daily dose of 20 drops per day (which is equivalent to 50mg of iodine). If you experience a bromine detox reaction (you can read more about this here), stop increasing your dosage until the symptoms pass, and then again start increasing the drops until you can handle 20 per day. Be sure to continue taking the supportive nutrients above with the iodine, since these will also help support the process of bromine detoxification.

Magnesium

Magnesium deficiency is also surprisingly common, and is another deficiency that can cause a wide range of diseases and health problems that can often be cured with the use of magnesium supplements (and a few supporting supplements). In this context, magnesium deficiency is a contributing factor in hypercalcemia, or increased blood calcium levels. This is because magnesium normally helps keep calcium levels in check, but when a person is deficient in this mineral, calcium levels are inevitably allowed to rise. Thus, taking a daily magnesium supplement can not only relieve any symptoms of magnesium deficiency, but can help rebalance calcium levels. This is especially true when magnesium is taken with vitamin K2 and iodine, which we talk about above.

Take magnesium at a dose of 150-350mg per day, ideally as magnesium bisglycinate or magnesium citrate since these are the most bioavailable forms of the nutrients. It’s up to you when you take the magnesium, but many people find that it works well to support relaxation and better sleep when taken in the evening or immediately before bedtime.

Boron: Trace Mineral Treatment for Hyperparathyroidism and Breast Calcifications

Boron is to the parathyroid glands as iodine is to the thyroid gland. The parathyroid glands absolutely need boron in order to function correctly, in the same way that the thyroid gland absolutely needs iodine in order to do its job. Since the parathyroid glands are especially important when it comes to the regulation of calcium in the blood, boron is also an important nutrient to include in any decalcification protocol. Taking a boron supplement can help give the parathyroid glands what they need so that they can be more responsive to the cues that they receive. This way, they’ll be more likely to release parathyroid hormone when calcium levels are low, and stop releasing this hormone when they’re high

Women with hyperparathyroidism or another condition of the parathyroid glands should place a particularly high value on boron supplementation. After all, boron is considered a trace mineral, and like the vast majority of other trace minerals, it often isn’t present in high quantities in the soil anymore, and thus doesn’t make it into our food supply either. Because of this, taking a boron supplement can often be just what the parathyroid glands need to get back to their normal routine.

Take 3-6mg of boron per day. You may take it any time of the day that suits you.

Vitamin B17: Treatment for Breast Calcifications and Cancer

Vitamin B17, otherwise known as amygdalin or Laetrile, is an important nutrient that has been gradually phased out of the food supply. This nutrient previously was found in grape seeds, watermelon seeds, apple seeds, and the seeds of other fruits, but in the US and many other countries, these fruits have been modified to no longer have seeds (or in the case of apples, we’ve been taught that the seeds are poisonous… they’re not, actually). Multiple experts with success in curing cancer using natural methods have acknowledged that cancer is usually nothing more than a vitamin B17 deficiency disease, in the same way that scurvy is a vitamin C deficiency disease. These experts realized that once their patients received this vitamin directly in some way, whether it be through an injection or through quality food sources such as bitter apricot kernels, that their condition invariably improved and in many cases, the patients were totally cured of their cancer.

But Big Pharma doesn’t want you to know this. After all, if cancer could be cured (or prevented) by eating a few bitter seeds in the morning or by getting a simple injection at the doctor’s office for a few months, the Medical Industry would be put out of business completely.

Nevertheless, cancer experts like Dr. Johanna Budwig, Dr. Max Gerson, and Dr. Virginia Livingston-Wheeler all observed the same phenomenon where vitamin B17 and vitamin B17 containing foods were essential for cancer recovery. Each of these people also included diet and nutritional supplementation as a core part of their protocol.

Since women with breast calcifications sometimes develop cancer or tumors, supplementation with vitamin B17 is important to prevent this from happening. In addition, vitamin B17 will not only prevent and/or treat cancer, but has also been shown to help heal and prevent the development of autoimmune disease and other conditions that involve the early deterioration of the body.

In the US, it’s illegal to sell this nutrient as “vitamin B17” or “Laetrile”. Americans must either obtain vitamin B17 in the form of amygdalin (another name for the same nutrient), or as bitter apricot kernels. Take 500mg of amygdalin per day, or eat 5 bitter apricot kernels daily as a cancer preventative. To treat existing cancer, patients should eat a total of 20 apricot kernels per day in 4 divided doses (so, for example, you could eat 5 kernels upon waking, 5 around lunch time, 5 in the mid-afternoon, and 5 around dinner time).

It’s also possible to travel to Mexico or other countries in the world, were there are cancer clinics that can offer injections of vitamin B17 to patients directly. Read more about these cancer clinics at this link.
