Magnesium Supplementation to Prevent Preeclampsia

Preeclampsia is a leading cause of death during pregnancy for both mothers and babies. And when a woman develops preeclampsia, one of the go-to medications used for treatment in conventional medicine hospitals is magnesium sulfate, also known as epsom salts. In women with preeclampsia hypertension, magnesium levels may be within the normal range, but often magnesium levels are too low. Women are not explicitly informed about the magnesium deficiency and, in fact, a woman in the later stages of pregnancy will be told that C-section is her only option. Women who develop preeclampsia during the early stages of pregnancy, however, will likely be given a magnesium sulfate IV without receiving guidance about the possibility of simply soaking in an epsom salts bath to administer a very similar type of treatment (albeit far less costly) on a daily basis from the comfort of home.

Doctors should recommend that all pregnant women take a magnesium supplement since magnesium levels clearly play a role in the development and natural prevention of preeclampsia. Magnesium glycinate is the best type of oral magnesium supplement (at a dose of 500-1000 mg per day during pregnancy). But doctors don’t do that.

There are many forms of magnesium that are available over-the-counter for women at high risk of preeclampsia. Natural treatment of preeclampsia should start in early pregnancy with natural forms of magnesium given as supplements. Epsom salts baths increase magnesium levels in the body by allowing the magnesium to soak through the skin and into blood vessels, but Magnesium Glycinate is well absorbed when taken in pill form too. Many people in the world today are deficient in magnesium and this is a nutrient that will do no harm to pregnant women who take a daily dose of at least 500-1000 mg.  If you’re pregnant and you’re looking for a natural cure for preeclampsia or a way to prevent preeclampsia, consider taking a magnesium glycinate supplement that you can order online. Do magnesium sulfate / epsom salt soaks daily. Magnesium glycinate is a very bioavailable form of magnesium that can help you prevent preeclampsia from developing into eclampsia.  In addition to taking magnesium, please click here to read more about vitamin K2 as a cure for preeclampsia and other types of placental dysfunction.

The AlivenHealthy Living Database is the tool that Lydian and I use to organize the data that we find while researching cures for diseases each day. Big Pharma, Big Food, and Big Ag work hard to hide the cures for diseases as well as the underlying causes of major diseases to maintain their profits. So it's hard for the average person to find scientific data about cures for disease even though the data exists! So, when Lydi and I find a cure for disease in the scientific literature or if we find anecdotal reports of disease cures that have worked for other people, we compile this information in our Living Database. Recently, we made this database available to the public via subscription so that more people could find links to studies and reports of cures for major as well as minor and even rare diseases.
