Schuessler Salts, Methylene Blue, and Red Light Therapy (and More) to Cure Loss of Smell

Disclaimer: Consult with a doctor before deciding on a treatment plan for any disease.

Scheussler Salts (also spelled as Scheussler Salts sometimes) are special homeopathic mineral salts that are prepared as microdoses. They are a homeopathic treatment that are made up of the body’s 12 essential minerals that are necessary for proper functioning of the body. If a deficiency or imbalance in these mineral salts occurs, a variety of ailments result. These salts are used to heal the body through a natural process of rebalancing so Scheussler Salts require some persistence in order to work properly.

Scheussler Salts are calibrated for easy absorption by the body. They are non-toxic and safe for use by pregnant women, lactating women, infants, and the elderly. Their safety profile is one of the major benefits of using Scheussler Salts as a natural treatment for loss of smell due to COVID or any other disease process or injury.

How to Take Scheussler Salts as a Cure for Loss of Smell Due to COVID

Scheussler Salts are not swallowed. Rather you chew them or allow them to dissolve in your mouth so that the minerals can be absorbed by the mucous membranes in the mouth. Take up to 6 tablets daily every 30 minutes until the salts begin to remedy loss of smell.

What Type of Scheussler Salts Are Used to Cure Loss of Smell?

Magnesia Phosphorica (also known as Phosphate of Magnesia or Magnesium Phosphoricum) are the type of salt used to treat a loss of smell or perversion of smell. Don’t expect for this treatment to work immediately to cure loss of smell because homeopathic remedies are not just a cover-up for symptoms. Rather, when you take Scheussler Salts, you’re working with your natural biology and your cells’ need for specific minerals.

A virus like COVID may deplete certain minerals in the body, leading to symptoms like loss of smell. During an active infection, the COVID virus likes to live up inside the nose near the olfactory nerve that allows us to smell. After the virus leaves, it is possible that the olfactory nerve has a deficiency of certain minerals that causes it to malfunction. Restoring those minerals to the body over time can restore smell after COVID.

Again though, be sure to commit to taking Magnesia Phosphorica for at least as long as you’ve had a loss of smell from COVID before you begin to expect results from this treatment. If you’ve had a long-standing loss of smell, also consider using Dimethylsulfoxide (DMSO), Chlorine Dioxide Solution / Miracle Mineral Solution, and/or Methylene Blue and Red Light Therapy to treat the problem. These additional treatment options can be used while you are also administering the Schuessler Salts.

DMSO and Chlorine Dioxide Solution as a Cure for Loss of Smell

Dimethylsulfoxide (DMSO) and Chlorine Dioxide Solution can both be used as a cure for loss of smell depending on the underlying cause of this sensory loss. DMSO is a powerful FDA-approved medicine that has the ability to regenerate nerves. It can be administered at the entrance to the nostrils and then sniffed up into the nose such that it reaches the olfactory bulb. Wait for an hour after administering DMSO before administering other medicines like Chlorine Dioxide Solution or Methylene Blue.

Chlorine Dioxide should be administered using Jim Humble’s Starting Protocol with the Eyes, Ears, and Nose Supporting Protocol at the same time. After completing the supporting protocol, move on to Protocol 1000 PLUS.

Methylene Blue and Red Light Therapy

NOTE: If you are pregnant or nursing, you should not use Methylene Blue as a cure for loss of smell. Methlene Blue can cause miscarriage. However, if you are pregnant or nursing, you can use the other treatments noted above including red light therapy, DMSO, and Chlorine Dioxide / Miracle Mineral Solution.

If you are not pregnant or nursing, you can combine Methylene Blue with Red Light Therapy as a powerful at-home treatment for loss of smell. The Methylene Blue and Red Light interact. Take Methylene Blue about 15-30 minutes before using red light therapy on the nose. Continue with this treatment until your sense of smell returns. Use Scheussler Salts as alongside Methylene Blue and Red Light Therapy.

Most average sized adults can put 20 drops of Methylene Blue in a glass and then add 4-8 ounces of water. Drink this mixture and then take 5-15 minutes to treat the olfactory nerve directly with red light. This treatment electrifies the nerve through the donation of electrons by Methylene Blue combined with enzymatic changes that activate the nerves caused by the administration of red light.
