Acne Treatment at Home: Non-Toxic, but Powerful Acne Treatment for Teens and Adults

DISCLAIMER: CONSULT WITH A DOCTOR BEFORE DECIDING ON A TREATMENT PLAN FOR ANY DISEASE.

Dimethylsulfoxide or (DMSO) is an FDA approved pharmaceutical that’s derived from trees. It has the broadest medicinal action of any other substance currently listed by pharmaceutical companies. DMSO improves permeability of the skin and cells which means that it can be used to deliver medicine deep inside the body. When combined with other medicines like essential oils, lactic acids, or Chlorine Dioxide Solution (a substance that combines easily with DMSO and releases natural oxygen ions that zap bacteria and viruses) or Food Grade Hydrogen Peroxide 3% concentration (a substance that functions in a manner similar to Chlorine Dioxide Solution in that it releases reactive oxygen species that zap bacteria and viruses when combined with DMSO).

Acne may react with more sensitivity than the surrounding skin if you are using DMSO to treat it.  DMSO can be administered as a stand-alone treatment or in combination with other ingredients to enhance its effectiveness.

When using DMSO to treat acne or other skin problems always wash the skin first with non-toxic products that are safe to use with DMSO

Severe acne is a distressing condition and often dermatologists want to prescribe toxic medications like synthetic vitamin A drugs (Accutane) to young people. DMSO is a substance that offers an alternative acne treatment option. DMSO makes cells extremely permeable which means that if you use DMSO either by itself (as an antibacterial agent) or in combination with one of the suggested ingredients listed below, you can deliver medicines deep into the pores of the skin. Just be sure to use non-toxic soaps to clean the skin prior to applying DMSO because DMSO will combine with the ingredients in soaps and other skin care products that have been applied to the skin if you don’t wash first.

DMSO Dosing Instructions as a Natural Acne Treatment:

Begin by diluting the 99.99% Pharmaceutical Grade DMSO to 50% concentration by adding water to the DMSO product in a 1:1 relationship. The concentration of DMSO can be increased to 75% if the skin tolerates regular application of DMSO.

Other Natural Treatments for Acne:

DMSO and Chlorine Dioxide Solution: Combine 99.99% Pharmaceutical Grade DMSO with Chlorine Dioxide Solution (CDS) / Miracle Mineral Solution (MMS) using Jim Humble’s Spray Bottle Recipe. Apply the DMSO either before or after administering CDS / MMS. Do not put DMSO in a spray bottle because it can eat away at plastics and combine with them. Rather, apply it to the skin before or after spraying MMS / CDS on affected areas.

DMSO and Food Grade Hydrogen Peroxide 3%: Apply Food Grade Hydrogen Peroxide at a 3% concentration to acne spots. Apply 99.99% Pharmaceutical Grade DMSO that has been diluted down to 50% concentration by adding clean, filtered water in a 1:1 relationship with the DMSO immediately after the Hydrogen Peroxide to the same areas. Do not use the hydrogen peroxide that you buy at the pharmacy or grocery store because these products contain stabilizers that would be dangerous if combined with DMSO and applied to the skin.

DMSO and Homemade Sauerkraut Solution: Lactic acid bacteria from fermented foods that have been prepared at home without preservatives or additives can be applied to the skin with DMSO.

DMSO and Tea Tree Essential Oil:Combine 10 drops of pharmaceutical grade DMSO 99.99% with 15 drops of clean, filtered water to make a 25% solution. Then add 2 drops of a high-quality tea tree essential oil to the mixture. Dab onto the affected areas. Lower the concentration of tea tree essential oil if this mixture irritates the skin.
