Víbora de cascabel is a snake found in South America, and it’s a remedy that is taken in pill form. It is widely available in Mexico and other Latin American countries where it’s well-known for it’s cancer-curing abilities. The pill contains the body of the víbora in powdered form. It has been in use since antiquity by indigenous people .
In Brazil, researchers have found that a protein in the venom from the snake may be responsible for curing melanoma in patients who take víbora de cascabel for skin cancer. The protein is capable of killing cancer cells while leaving healthy cells intact .
