Alternative Treatments for Henoch-Schonlein purpura (HSP)

This is a message that I sent to my dad who then sent the message onward to a friend. Dad was having problems with his Internet service and a man named “Tony” came to his house to fix the issue. While he was there, Tony told my dad that his daughter had a disease called Henoch-Schonlein purpura. This disease causes a rash, stomach issues, and sometimes kidney issues. Obviously, I’m not a doctor and my dad told this man that, but the Tony had a close relative who was a doctor and the doctor was doing research but not finding anything of value. So I did a cursory search online and then wrote down some thoughts that I had in terms of possible alternative treatments for Henoch-Schonlein purpura disease.   After many years of learning about cures for serious, life-threatening and debilitating diseases such as cancer, diabetes, multiple sclerosis, or Parkinson’s my theory on all/most diseases is that they are caused by:   Poor nutrition. A good diet includes mostly fruits and vegetables and whole grains and no refined sugars. The ideal diet has no animal products or is made up of only about 5% animal products. A good diet to follow is The China Study Diet. Degeneration of the body tissues and the immune system caused by nutritional deficiencies with the most obvious and important deficiencies being vitamin...

How to Cure Candida

The thing about candida and yeast infections that everyone should know and understand is that this disease is related to cancer. This is a scary statement. The kind of declaration that might make people want to click over to a different page. But don’t. Cancer is curable and therefore candidiasis is also curable.   The relationships between cancer and candida starts with something called a “somatid”. Somatids are tiny little specks that are only visible using dark-field microscopy. Normally, in a human body that has an alkalinity level of 7.3 or above, they go through a 4 stage life-cycle that stimulates the immune system. But unfortunately, most people’s bodies are acidic because the food they eat contains a lot of refined substances like sugar, animal products, or refined flours. As a result of a chronic low/acidic pH, the harmless-beneficial somatids move beyond their normal 4-stage cycles into an entirely different cycle of evolution that includes between 16 and 64 different stages. One of these stages of development is candida albicans.   So the development of candida begins with pH, which is largely the result of diet. But besides the change in pH, the typical American diet (which is low on raw foods and high in animal products) requires a lot of pancreatic enzymes for digestion. Pancreatic enzymes normally “eat” things like yeast, but a diet that requires too many...

A Bedwetting Cure That Really Works

Recently, a 14-year old young man came to live us. He’s been wetting the bed since he was born and his mom told me that he was really embarrassed about it. A few years ago, our family took a trip to Alaska and brought my daughter’s friend along with us. The friend was 13 years old. On the way there, she wet the bed. She was embarrassed about it, but told us it was normal and that it “happened to her sometimes”.   More teenagers than you’d think wet the bed apparently. In fact, 2.5% of all college students still wet the bed! When this 14-year old came to live with us, I was determined to figure out the problem for him once and for all. Was it his diet? His sleep schedule? I started doing research and I found a book called It’s No Accident: Breathrough Solutions To Your Child’s Wetting, Constipation, UTI’s, And Other Potty Problems by Steve J. Hodges and Suzanne Schlosberg. The book was amazing. The information in the book was presented by a urologist and it made a lot of sense to me. This man says that the cure for bedwetting and chronic UTI’s was discovered decades ago.   Basically, the problem is anatomical. Kids often don’t use the bathroom as often as they should when they’re young, so they hold their poop. And...

Ritalin and ADHD: What Every Parent Should Know

Parents are under a lot of pressure to make sure their kids perform according to the rules in schools. Teachers are under a lot of pressure to make sure the kids in their classes perform well on standardized tests. School administrators are under a lot of pressure to make sure the school is properly funded. And kids? Kids receive the brunt of all this pressure.   So what’s the solution to this problem? It’s a big, complex problem so the answers are likely to be similarly big and complex. While there are plenty of people who would like to solve it, few of these people are in a position to make changes that will truly make an impact on the big picture. But one powerful force in U.S. culture that has a band-aid for everything is Big Pharma and the school systems are no exception. Enter Ritalin, a central nervous system stimulant that makes kids more docile and obedient.   I have trouble with the idea of Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD). I’ll admit that. I’ve worked with kids in classroom settings and I can tell you that I’ve been glad that some of them were “medicated” with Ritalin before they showed up for class. Their behaviors were truly disruptive and they stole attention from the kids were better able to pay attention to the instructor. I’m aware of...
